Tale as old as time, ever since Genesis 3 it's been a pattern for humans to trust themselves over God.
Praise Yahweh the one true God. Revealed Triune as Father, Spirit, and Jesus the Son, each member fully God of which there is only one. 3 distinct Persons coexistant, coequal, and coeternal sharing 1 Divine Essence. Jesus lives and is God, Christ, King. Repent of your sin and believe in Him and be saved to eternal life!

there is no salvation
in the comforts of evildoers
And that's why the list of exclusions found in Revelation 21:8 starts with, "but the fearful and unbelieving" ...
servant and son - come and save?
if there was ever a white flag waved, here it was.
is this like many of us in life,
that when overwhelmed with the distractions and frustrations surrounding us
in this sick and dying world, that we seek relief in drinking it's poison?
Best not to surrender, best to trust God
and be content with little
than to desire to maintain or keep much, and lose all really.
