I saw the light, I saw the light🎶🎶 No more darkness, no more night Now I'm so happy no sorrow in sight Praise the Lord, I saw the light Just like a blind man, I wandered along Worries and fears I claimed for my own Then like the blind man that God gave back his sight Praise the Lord, I saw the light I wandered so aimless, life filled with sin I wouldn't let my dear savior in Then Jesus came like a stranger in the night Praise the Lord, I saw the light🎶🎶
Thank you Pastor David, our own government needs this devotional lol. I really don’t know how they expect seniors to make it in fixed incomes. Praise God for His provision. Since I accepted Christ into my life & stopped being a bad steward to the things He blesses me with I have not needed or wanted for anything accept seeking His heart ❤️. ❤️🙏🙌🙌🙌
David brings up an OT lesson taught by few today, yet the exercise of it's evil often goes unchecked because most pulpits are silent. If the church does not speak to the family, the family then is absent from the culture, and the culture is without direction or vision, a society lost. Hear the good news that David speaks today - do not rejoice in evil, nor do harm, but love your brother, as you do yourself. For the heart can be desperately evil and wiicked.
The Psalms tell us God's will regarding brothers and sisters (and these that were became nations and forgot one another) ~ that is ~ how great and lovely it would be, if they could get along and dwell in unity. We are to be an example of God's people, God's love not a stain, or an embarrassment Psalm 133 1 Of David. How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity! It is like precious oil poured on the head, running down on the beard, running down on Aaron's beard, down upon the collar of his robes. It is as if the dew of Hermon were falling on Mount Zion.
Wouldn't it be poetic justice, that each time we point our finger at others, their faults, their failings - that the same finger, would turn crooked and reverse its position back at us. The things we dislike in others, often are the very things we do not like in ourselves. Be kind and patient, and seek the mercy and grace of God, for one another, and one's self, pray for one another, and lastly pray to God for your own soul.
“When Judas, who had betrayed him, saw that Jesus was condemned, he was seized with remorse and returned the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and the elders. 4 “I have sinned,” he said, “for I have betrayed innocent blood.” Matthew 27
Looking back you have to wonder, "what if?" What if Abraham hadn't abused his immigrant slave? What if Isaac hadn't played favourites? What if Jacob had trusted God, and not tricked his father and brother? What if... How much strife and turmoil for God's chosen people could have been avoided, if only they had fully committed all their life to Him. Instead, we get families fighting, now on a global scale. But still, through it all God's plan is working and won't be stopped. Amen. Jesus lives! ♥️ and is Yahweh God 🙏🏻 Christ ✝️ and King 👑
"It's a sin to speak harshly to anyone." David, I think the Lord Jesus spoke quite harshly throughout Matthew 23. He also called Peter "Satan" once. How do you define _harshly?_
Pastor Lance replies - Methinks the context of David's use of harshly here means that it IS sin. In others words, it isn't a a sin because it is harsh, but it is harsh, in this case, because it's a sin.
This family sin, goes back to Cain and Abel, hate, jealousy, anger, wanting something that is not rightfully theirs, and instead of rejoicing and being happy for kin, evil desires to eliminate such from existence and memory, a sad commentary on sin nature.
I loved this talk on Obadiah!
May God bless your work of Translation for nothing is imposible in CHRIST. AMEN

Lance, I'm sorry, but I don't follow your logic.
