Wait a minute..he said that his favorite holding is Vanguard Total Stock Market, because he will benefit from any gains, GLOBALLY; I wonder if he misspoke there (and Consuelo didn't catch it) and he actually meant, Vanguard Total WORLD index fund??
It will ALWAYS be "too early" or "too late". To profit from the markets one must be IN the markets. Index broadly, index cheaply, reinvest dividends WHEN PAID and walk away!! Nothing else works RELIABLY for the LONG TERM.

Considering this video was released 4 months ago, if you were buying in Oct 2022 I guess it was a pretty good time.
