Your mind is the only thing that can imagine the scariest face, sound, or body. That’s usually why we think of creepy sh*t when we’re going to a dark place, we see eyes but it’s only our imagination.
Okay, to explain the sheep, sheep don't usually have a herd leader. They just follow the tail of the sheep in front of them. Works great if everyone is running away in a line, but not so great if the sheep in front meets the sheep in back. Then you get these lil sheepnados and they'll go round and round until they die or the sheep are forced to move out of the line. So basically, it's sheep big dumb and are all about that booty.
Portrait of god is honestly pretty effing terrifying, the creator of the short story needs to b hired or help make better horror movies. Seriously great job

About the candle not working: basically the long candle container holds the carbon from previous burnings and since fire can’t survive without a constant flow of oxygen, it dies out I suggest to flip around your candle sometimes to let the carbon out, ik it sounds silly but trust me it works
