- I went bank and Wade fishing in Galveston Texas at some very popular spots to try and catch some keeper flounder before the season closes! It was a tough day of fishing but I ended up with one big flounder to take home. Then I showed how to debone the flounder for stuffing and made a simple yet delicious stuffed flounder recipe! Thanks for sharing.! Just my $.02 cut 2 slits in the tops of the Flounder flaps and when you close it up use 2 pieces of Bacon to "tie it together". "Tight Lines and Full Limits To Ya"

It all depends on where you fish. Big winter trout wading the bay if you can find a good spot. Maybe still be some big flounder around when the season opens back up on December 15th.
Sheepshead fishing gets pretty good during the winter. Big reds and black drum off the beaches. Good luck and tight lines
