In a way, the lyrics to this song describe Meredith's feelings for Derek on Grey's Anatomy, especially in Season 1. Meredith is the reason I stuck with Grey's and watched all 8 seasons in about 5 months. I didn't realize how great this song was until the alternative universe episode. That's why I love this song.
