Is the Toyota C52 the best FWD manual transmission?

Hello, the video of the c52 transmission is very interesting, thanks. I have some questions (1) I have a 1984 Toyota MR2 AW11 with a 4age 16v engine with a 4-speed automatic transmission, the 5-speed transmission is larger or similar or it would not fit in my car. (2) What improvements could I make to my transmission? (3) there is some improvement so that it works as a DSG transmission thank you very much

1. Any C-series transmission from a Toyota A-series engine will bolt on to your 4AGE.
2. Change ATF regularly, have transmission overhauled if needed. Or swap to manual.
3. Swap over to a DSG box. Dunno how to get that working though.

Haven't done it but most likely just a bellhousing swap with your existing 4E transmission.

best way is to open one up and verify number of teeth of first gear, third gear and fourth gear and correlate with known ratios for C52 or C56.
