i had my mt125 2019 nicked got it back but its a write off im deciding the next bike and stuck between the duke 2019-2023 or the newer mt 125 but as for the duke im woried about reliability since im looking for somthing to commute on and still have fun on my days off if you could let me know about ur experience that would be great. and amazing idea with drilling out the stock since i prefer to keep stock exhaust other wise 125ccs just sound like a fart can
Thank you for commenting. I don’t know of any serious issues with the Duke 125. I had no issues in 7 years from brand new. After the warranty ran out, I did all the servicing myself as it’s so easy. I can’t bring myself to buy a Japanese bike as they don’t weather well in the UK (corrosion). All that being said, as long as you’re on two wheels, life is good.
@@savagex367 thanks man was hesitant since 2 of my mates both had the 2024 duke and both had major issues wear as the 2018-2023 seem to be hit or miss at the start then all good
@@emojiheathan7415 that interesting as the new 2024 duke is supposed to be completely redesigned and it’s what I’m looking at buying or the new mt-125 but not sure if the extra price tag of the mt is worthy. What were the big issues with your mates dukes? Obviously covered under warranty but still hassle I know.
