It’s been bugging me so I gotta say it: there’s a hidden room behind the fridge in your house garage. Also, looking forward to you attracting screamers by putting dew collectors at your house
No, I didn’t think dew collectors made heat!! I always have em next to my first base so I can move em with me, I guess I can alway just place em down the road and put a landclaim block next to em down the road to pick them up.
Glock: "We need a lot of plastic parts!" Also Glock: Ignores vinyl window blinds in the POI he just left and the one immediately after saying he needs plastic parts. Lol. never change man.. never change.
Loving the series so far! I've had a save playing with 10% loot, 50% xp, 90 minute days, 1 trader quest a day limit, and a variable zombie speed mod for a couple weeks now, and I agree it's the best and most challenging playthrough I've ever had. Keep rockin Glock!
TO make it more realistic, maybe there could be a setting to make the loot availability decrease over time. I mean, in the beginning of an apocalypse event, the chances of finding working tools, a good car, fuel, edible foods are bigger. The longer you survive, the more you are going to have to rely on crafting your own.
I agree about the low loot. How many dudes running around with all Purple gear? Most of them. The best part of this game for me is finding a level 1 toilet pistol and really appreciating it. The early to mid game is where the meat is.
All those little trash piles (not the ones you can open up that have stuff inside, just the ones that are noise maker decals) can give you plastic, as well as paper and glass.
7 days is so much better when the threat of death is real, resources strained, finding a jar honey ,and you feel like tom hanks making fire in cast a way, kutgw
I’m so happy you’re using the McMillan Residence as your home. I usually play the Navesgame map and I use it as my home there. It’s one of my favorite ones to work with.
I've done a couple of play throughs where I had no loot respawn, did not use vending machines and treated traders as an empty poi (i.e. would just go in, loot and leave). One thing I did was leave a frame in front of every house I looted, so I could tell which ones I had visited. Enjoying the series. :)
Hello to the Amazing Glock9 Community, I hope this message finds you all well and enjoying the incredible content that Glock9 brings to life. I’m Keagan, and while I’m not much of a social butterfly or someone who actively chats in comments, I’ve been quietly watching and loving Glock9’s videos for years. His content has always been a source of joy, inspiration, and a reminder of the simpler, happier moments in life. Life for my family has taken a difficult turn recently. On January 17, a fire destroyed our home and everything we’d built together. It’s been an incredibly tough time for my wife Chantel, my little boy Alex, and me as we try to navigate through the loss and work toward rebuilding our lives. But even in these struggles, Glock9’s videos have continued to be a comfort, bringing back memories of when we all gathered together to watch and laugh. Alex, even though he’s far too young to fully understand (or be allowed to play), always loved sitting with me while I watched. And Chantel? Let’s just say gaming wasn’t her strong suit-especially with zombies! She’d always end up dying about 15 times before even making it across the map. We even tried playing with zombies turned off on PS4, but somehow, a wolf always managed to find her. Those were such good times, moments of laughter and connection that we all cherish, now more than ever. Even as we face the challenge of rebuilding from the ground up, it’s these small joys-like watching Glock9’s videos-that remind us what we’re fighting for: a chance to create more happy memories together. And while I might not be someone who actively chats, I feel like this community, full of fun, supportive, and like-minded people, would definitely be my kind of crowd. To Glock9 and this amazing community: thank you for creating something that’s more than just videos. It’s a space where people like me can find a bit of comfort, inspiration, and even some hope during the darkest times. Wishing you all the best, Keagan, Chantel, and Alex
If you want a more "realistic" survival experience, I would definitely recommend the Afterlife mod. You'll feel more early pressure getting the basic needs covered
As you are low loot, maybe keep the bones so you can make glue, as you are going to need a lot of duct tape. Love that you have slowed it down a bit. Great fun. Thanks Glock xx
I usually play 50% xp, 50% loot and warrior difficulty, that's the best balance for me. As far as veteran players, default loot and difficulty really is too easy. And its so fast that you blow through the game progression in 2 weeks and then you start over again, at least in my case.
Turned off 7d2d on a new world enspired by this series. Made a coffee said screw it and added a little something spicey too it. Sat down and here's a new episode. I dont think I ever had a monday start so great!
Another grate episode. If by chance you read this message, I was thinking about how you always try make these series entertaining and challenging but without making the zombies just bullet sponges. Like for this series the zombies are set to nightmare all the time day or night, so on paper this is very challenging. The thing is you get used to the timing of them running so after some time you can judge the time you need to swing at them. If you have their speed change from day to night you timing would be thrown off at night and this would make nights still more challenging just my thoughts. Loving the series, looking forward to see how far you get in this one.
"We occasionally wanna do things silently, This is nightmare" as he walks around with a headlamp on and a flaming sledgehammer while crouched. Never change Glock.
My mans, it would mean a little less xp, but just make the wood blocks instead of upgrading them. Love the series so far Glock, hope tomorrow's not the last episode
I love lower loot. 25% or 50% is great. Also mods to increase zombie spawns in the world and wandering hordes can really make you decide between guns or melee
Idk about everyone else but I don't mind if u save the base for the next horde but I'm curious why upgrade the wood to stronger wood if they're just gonna break in 1 hit?
@@Glock9 I watched it but I'm gonna watch it again I remember u saying u don't think they'll go for a block based on its strength cause they're all one hit but still this series is so dope bro ur a bad ass it shows in this series lol
Lockpicking might be kinda useless, but since there's only 3 tiers to it, you save 2 skillpoints, the find rate for Forge Ahead mags is much higher with 1 rank in Lockpicking than 1 in Advanced Engineering, and Lockpicking doesn't pollute the magazine loot pool with 3 other magazines.
Hey glock, love ya like a brother m8 i really do, and you have got to play escape from tarkov mod, for the guns if nothing else cause they are out of this world. Be healthy and safe your and your family lots of love from Greece
I am pretty sure someone else proposed it, but one way to show that a POI was looted would be to use a paint brush (that could be given at the start of the series) to paint it, maybe with a big red X.
I'm not a huge fan of the one hit zombies, but I love the 25% loot. It's like you said; the best part of any series are those early days when you're just struggling to survive. I wish every 7 Days series was like Nightmare.
Hey glock, great vid as always! I think those mods for the dew collector can only be bought from the trader....unless they changed something. I havent played version 1.2 yet.
Everything down low is more of a challenge, indeed! This is how I play. Scrambling to get the necessary resources to upgrade the zombies damage on the horde base and getting the resources to make more ammo, meds, boosts and food/drink before the next Blood Moon. If you don't get it done in 7days.☠️ ⚰️🪦
Not this series because you've already set it, but do you think double XP and 25% loot would make it even harder? The game stage/difficulty should increase faster while your looting stays slow.
I think you should run 10 days at 25% loot. The struggle has always been the early game. After 2 hordes, bump it up to 50% to illustrate how you have become more "adapted" to your current situation. This series is great!!!
I don't even think you will notice any difference when using the silencer. I use it whenever I can. I like the sound better when it's a bit more low. Besides, when you find all books there is no penalties when using it. It takes a while to complete, so I understand you don't want to wait for that, lol.
There is always a penalty for using a silencer since it takes the place of a more useful mod that also gives 10% more damage. I also find myself never using them. And I definitely notice the difference in range. It's a huge nerf unless you're used to having infinite ammo and simply don't care about wasting resources.
@Glock9 been watching for quite a while, just want to say thanks for all the laughs and I don’t even play 7days! Oh and that cornmeal bushwhacked you big time!
Hey Glock if youre interested in a difficult but fun mod for 7days look up a mod called Forsaken trail i belive youll find it quite the nice challange.
Forsaken Trails mod for this game looks interesting especially since it brings back jars and cans for water gathering and zombies come in all sizes literally
"zombies are already dead"; I dunno if 7DTD ever really talked about the Z-virus or how it works, to be fair. Could be they're decaying but still technically "alive".
That Jack Canada POI as an infested clear late game can be death trap. So many radiateds boiled out of that attic. I came out of that fight nearly dead with just about every status effect you can have.

Curious question, if its 1 hit block anyway, is it worth upgrading all of the blocks to wood vs. leaving them as frames? Id probably solidify the exposed blocks so I wouldn't accidentally pick them up, but otherwise, I would think frames would be easier on upkeep for wood.

Glad you said that, I keep meaning to go back and check if he cleared that room earlier.
No, I didn’t think dew collectors made heat!! I always have em next to my first base so I can move em with me, I guess I can alway just place em down the road and put a landclaim block next to em down the road to pick them up.

“Cornmeal in the fridge keep it in the cabinets like a normal person”
Next move finds cornmeal in the caninets - EPIC moment of funny
The game trolls him so hard sometimes 😂
Agreed
That cornmeal moment 😂😂😂😂
The 25% loot abundance sure is not stopping cornmeal from being in several poi’s loot
@
I think it should be the lower the loot abundance, the more the cornmeal 😂😂
Even when I stop playing 7D for a while, I still always catch Glock9's vids.. still playing this game after so many years!
Admiral Ackbar hahahaha 12:03

Silenced desert vulture does some work, one shots radiated once you find the silencer book and have some points in pistols. Was loving it...
15:11 parallel parking fml 🤣
Agree. Desert Vulture is the only gun I ever use a silencer on since I always seem to have infinite 44 ammo once I get a gun that can use it.
I’m so happy you’re using the McMillan Residence as your home. I usually play the Navesgame map and I use it as my home there. It’s one of my favorite ones to work with.
"did she just backhand me?" 😂 Yes Glock she learned that move from her pimp💀
I wonder if the zombies would have to hit upgraded storage boxes multiple times. Break it for each tier of upgrade. Might be something neat to test.
Finding silencer is a turning point in everyone of my play throughs. It’s KILLING me that you are selling them. Lol
I've done a couple of play throughs where I had no loot respawn, did not use vending machines and treated traders as an empty poi (i.e. would just go in, loot and leave). My brain froze for a second at 1:23 thinking you looted that bird 😅🤣😂
I still love how you edit the opening of the trader gates. It makes me chuckle.
Do zombies attack or swing at traps, and robotic sledge etc? might be the way to go, alot of traps and turrets

I do appreciate the low loot setting giving us more of the crunchy stuff: the beginning of a series.
good morning Glock!

Not doing trader jobs has a big effect on pacing.
Kenny`s so skinny when he breaks anything he doesn`t need an x-ray. Doctor just holds him up against a light.

I run 50% loot and it feels right. Day 38 I got a crate upgraded to steel to hold guns and ammo and it's not overflowing with ammo lol
15:08 Running wire? The bag had Wiring 101. EPIC!
Your reaction to that bird at the very beginning was hilarious! LOL
best way to start a monday! 🙂💛
about time lol. Can't wait to watch all of this one
Im 50/50 about you always using the less loot setting. Your call tho Chief.
I am really enjoying this run through and started just doing the buildings without the trader as well. then move to the next town :)

If the Z's destroy in 1 hit, why upgrade to full wood and not just use the frames since block HP doesn't matter? Would cut a lot of time off the build
To my understanding, and I think he mentioned it in another video, having a lot of unupgraded frames can cause a lot of lag
@@umbraredux gotcha, I missed the explanation for it. Even with 800 hours in myself there is still so much about the game I don't know/understand lol

Piles of boxes give plastic. It's worth farming them if you're trying to get lots of plastic.
Should have added the mod that makes you loot everything

You can only buy mods from the trader, I'm pretty sure.
Hello there….
"No reason to discharge a load" AND no "that what she said joke".....I'm not angry i'm just disappointed xD
With how hard looting is, glock needs to save everything he can find
With the loot thing you could also make other challenges like no looting main stashes or only looting main stashes
Make some tea, red or gold. They give an extra +4 hydration vs water. And those dew collector mods are a trader only item. Unless you have a mod to add to the world loot.
