      +Keyser Soeze Are we gonna have to start basing it on percentiles of race? Like what percentage of black do you have to be to be considered black? What if you're mother is 1 FOURTH white? Seriously, shit is ridiculous. I find that the whole "So and so isn't even black" thing when somebody is mixed, usually comes down to whether you like the person or agree with them.

    What Akala is saying about more blacks slaves originating from the Caribbean is right. A lot of the Caribbean islands were former British colonies during the british empire (hence the commonwealth). So Akala is right again. For those who don't know who Akala is, he's the brother of British artist called Ms Dynamite.

      Most London accents are nice. Liverpool accents are disgusting, Brum accents are the worst (no offence to the 0121 but I don't even like my own tbf), Geordie accents are not terrible but they have like their own language sometimes, most north west accents are similar and pretty chavvy and scruffy but growing up hearing that shit day to day I'm used to it, I'd just rather sound like an Eastender that accent is smooth and cool as fuck

      man Liverpool accent is not disgusting at all. all the accents you are dissing kept their uniqueness over the years. we don't have to speak with a southern softie accent. that southern softie accent is just minging. and that is coming from an half manc/half french😑😐.

    • @johnnygat1818
      @johnnygat1818 8 років тому +2

      Not disgusting to you but to the majority of the world it is. All I'm saying is it doesn't sound nice to my ears and I prefer the way Danny Dyer speaks than how Aystar speaks.

      Pro-black? You mean he appreciates his heritage, both sides, he proudly claimed his Scottish roots as well as his Jamaican. You heard what you wanted to hear, because you are ignorant, just like the interviewer was to slavery, and the truth that the US was a tiny fraction of the slave trade, yet is the only place that still cries about it.

    • @Mr-js9ly
      @Mr-js9ly 8 років тому +6

      He is pro-black! I clearly identifies with being black more than white just like my homeboy Colin Kaepernick! Your just pissed because blacks are waking up and trust me we will become unified very soon. The police are going to make us stronger and more of a threat.

      looka dis fool here. Got the nerve to come on a blac culture channel (like I am not blac and lived in this skin) but talk about "blac on blac" violence whatever that is.
      But why is he not talkin about "white on white" violence? Or even worse the chattel slavery murder rape genocide and atrocities of white on blac violence for the 400 years it happened?
      Why are these people not speakin about that?
      If you are white you have no right to talk to anyone about murder as you peoples whole premises is based on murder. That's how you have everything now.
      Whatever "blac on blac" violence is it will never match you demonic bluefoots historical crime rate and what you have done throughout history. YOU ARE BORN MURDERERS!
      comin up on blac people tings talkin foolishness but bet I won't ever catch you on a Klan page talking shit. GET DA FUC OUTTA HERE. U don't belong here.
      Last but not least did anyone see what happened in France this summer?
      NOOOO blac people were involved whatsoever but just research the events.
      These people ruined the south of France in a single day but guess what color the people were who had to clean up the mess after they fled bac to there countries?

      They are, but it shouldn't mean they can't have the same creative freedoms, who knows, some white boy could release the realiest rap album of the decade but he would be held back if rap had that ideology
      Hip-hop was born out of fighting oppression, not to start it

    It won't surprise me if a lot of people won't listen to these kind of interviews and rather listen to Vlad TV interview with mozzy and Daylit...

I saw him do a talk and performance in Mcr UK few yrs back and he's still getting better and better at dropping the real talk. May this interview get all of us thinking more about what we say and do and the roots of it all.

    The Western US was also under Mexico's control prior to 1848 with the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo. Part of what lead to the Mexican american war was Mexico's resistance against america's slavery. However, slavery was still present and vicious under spanish rule. Native peoples were forced by the spanish to build the California missions. Junipero serra is supposedly a "saint", but in reality, he's just another slave master.

    Vlad the title is super misleading. Akala does not say this. He is answering in the voice of the youth he would ask that question to. Akala has spoken many times on racism and what it means when an oppressed group has a racial prejudice against their oppressors. Not the same thing as racism. CHANGE THE TITLE VLAD YOU ARE REALLY PAINTING A DIFFERENT IMAGE OF AKALA WITH THAT. SERIOUSLY, NOT COOL VLAD. plz upvote this and get this to his attention this is a serious misrepresentation of Akala
