As there is a lot of demand for this particular model but the deliveries are yet to start so cant comment anything right now.

I just took a test drive yesterday. I loved it. I just had one question that the engine gets heated very quickly. I felt so may be because i am not used to riding high end bikes. I have an intruder which is 150 cc . So is the heating normal ?? Or it heats up very quickly??
Heating is normal for bikes which are high CC they usually heats up quickly in city traffic but you won't face this issue on highways.

Also does the pillion get affected by the heat ? Like does the pillion feel the heat too ?
@@nealshah334 i would suggest wait for few month. Once the bike is out you will have better clarity upon the usability.

You can get 1-2 round of bike around the mall to get an basic idea about its riding dynamics, braking and performance.
I have Duke 390 since 2017. Now I am 37 year old and want to ride some comfortable bike that is powerful as well as calm. I dont want initial jerks and vibration that i have experienced on Duke 390. More over I want a cruiser kind of motorcycle comfortable to ride in city daily traffic on the other hand powerful to enjoy on occasional highway rides.
Please suggest me some bikes so that it would help me to come to final decision. It should be under 3.5L. Waiting for your reply.
X440 is a good choice but it is not as powerful as the 390. Expect it to feel 60% of what 2017 Duke 390 feels.
You dont have a lot of option at 3.5 lakh as all the bikes in this segment will feel less powered as compared to 2017 Duke 390. But here are few options-
- Meteor 350 (Cruiser but less powerful)
- X440
- Himalayan 450
- Interceptor 650 (Slightly above 3.5lakhs)

The heating was not much. You will not feel it if you are wearing proper riding gears but for a normal day you might feel partial heating while riding in peak city traffic.

Thanks for the review, Avishkar.. Can you also show the rear clearance (wheel-seat) and riding experience, after a pillion, and also a second pillion (to simulate the luggage)? The LCD screen switching to dark mode on passing under trees is annoying and distracting - any workarounds?

For normal customers they are giving only .5 km test ride inside Amanora mall which is worthless.. cannot go beyond 3rd gear.. waste of time for such a small ride..
