- Chapati using batter or liquid dough recipe explained in this video with Kannada narration and English subtitles. This is a a very easy method to prepare chapathi using liquid batter. You need not roll the chapati or prepare the dough. Just make the batter and prepare the roti. This method can be used when you want to prepare chapati or roti without rolling. I have used 1/2 maida and 1/2 wheat flour in this chapati. However you can prepare it with full maida or full wheat flour. Maintaining the correct temperature and using a non-stick pan are some of the requirements to get the recipe right!

You can skip maida and replace it with wheat flour. But you will have to increase the water and adjust the consistency.

True.. It is a useful recipe...however you need to exercise on batter consistency, pan temperature and flame adjustment until you master it.

Try it. This is a good recipe but little tricky. Don't make the batter thick. Also adjust the flame as I said.

It has it's own limitations. Batter should be of proper consistency and you need to adjust the flame often. People who have difficulty is making dough and rolling can follow this method.

Please try it. Take care with the batter consistency (should not be very thick) and adjust the flame as I said. With maida it comes out good. I feel regular chapati is better than this.

Madam your chapathi preparing way is really good. I like it iuse only wheat flour so it was like dosa. But good ur way is mixing maida and wheat 1/2 +1/2 sure iam doing it.

Try it..don't make the batter too thick. Keep the flame at low in the beginning and then at medium.
