I like Storm 4’s adaptation of Guy opening the Gate of Death better than the anime because the anime made it seem like a epic moment with the music and voice acting. Doing this let the audience knew that he was going to somehow survive and doesn’t really have the weighted fact that Guy was going to die. But, the game lets the player feel the weight of Guy’s option through all of character’s dialogue and actions throughout the mission.
If they had actually had madara respond with his famous line: FINE I ADMIT IT, OUT OF ALL THE TAIJUTSU FIGHTERS IVE FOUGHT, I, MADARA, DECLARE YOU THE GREATEST OF THEM ALL! This would have actually been written better than the anime
Does anyone else realize this is perhaps the hardest fight to get an S Rank in, and on top of that, Guy’s ultimate being able to connect with Madara is beyond difficult in the game? And yet, at 1:09, this guy had actually managed to land Hirudora on Madara, it was so cheese I tell ya!

As an english speaker who lost touch with the anime as I got older (I saw roughly 1/3rd through shippuden), I got this game and the previous ones to finish up the series for me. I did not know Guy survived this while it was happening and let me tell you it fucked me up super hard to see my favorite character (supposedly) go out on top like this. Until 2 minutes later when Naruto healed him.
Might guy (selfless love) vs Madara (selfish love). It was a perfect combination of characters to battle one another. So much more could have gone into the fight scene and it's sad that the video game version did a better job expressing emotion and power than the show. As much as I love this fight, I also wish so much more went into it at the same time. It could have been a true masterpiece and in my eyes nothing comes close in the show to these 2 characters clashing.

Danzo had to cut off his arm that was made of Hashirama's cells during his fight with Sauske because he couldn't handle it once his chakra was low, and it nearly turned him into a tree. so his argument doesn't fall flat, Danzo in the end couldn't handle it under pressure, but was strong enough to have it under normal circumstances. Meanwhile, people like Madara and Naruto can go all out in battle and never have to worry about Hashirama's cells causing problems.

And everyone forgets that if u are not compatible then u can die and Naruto has a little bit of senju blood in his bloodline since Hashiramas Wife and Narutos mom were related

Danzo had to cut off his arm that was made of Hashirama's cells during his fight with Sauske because he couldn't handle it once his chakra was low, and it nearly turned him into a tree. so his argument doesn't fall flat, Danzo in the end couldn't handle it under pressure, but was strong enough to have it under normal circumstances. Meanwhile, people like Madara and Naruto can go all out in battle and never have to worry about Hashirama's cells causing problems.

Guy had no business fighting Madara, but was the most formidable opponent against Madara up until that point. The man with every disadvantage in the world, who went toe to toe with a false god and didn't flinch at having to sacrifice himself. That's a true hero.
