- Ever seen an Formula One car rip through the Rocky Mountains and across the sand in Miami Beach? Now you have.
The Red Bull Racing adventure across America continues with Part two of “Road Trip USA.” In part one, the team visited well-traveled destinations including San Francisco, Monument Valley and Las Vegas. In part two, they continue heading east, speeding throught the Rocky Mountains of Colorado and ending up on the beautiful sand beaches of Miami, FL with Max Verstappen at the wheel of the RB7.

They used the superhards on a demo run at Zandvoort in the Netherlands earlier this year. It enabled them to powerslide around the bends of the circuit.

I had the fortune of seeing the last shot of this video with my own eyes by pure luck. I happened to be in the right place at the right time. I was atop a parking garage terrace in the moment only about 150m away from the Brickell bridge when I heard the engine roaring and went to peek. This makes me so fucking happy :')

god this is sick. I hiked the colorado trail (500 miles over 30 days) this last summer, and that twin lakes general store was a resupply point. It makes me so happy to see a F1 car in that sleepy little town! I love that you guys use the cars, not just hide them away to protect them

Yeah "bashing", they probably bashed more the cars on the gravel traps compared to what they did for this video.
@O R There's no exact figure as Ferrari wants to keep the privacy for the owners (and rightly so) but someone speaks about around €2 mln for the car itself (so excluding the entire service unlike in the XX cars price), but if you want the championships winning 488 GT3/GTE it is at only €630.000, still a good deal.

Since Max and Daniel were wearing helmets the whole video, I thought that it could be body doubles like in a movie until I remember they are the most qualified people to do these kind of stunts.

I still don't think it's them, it's not about most qualified it's about the risk and what's in their contracts. Since the insurance of drivers is waaaaay high, I'm 99% sure they just voice recorded the actual drivers and used stunt drivers for this. Plus f1 drivers aren't trained to race in cities, they do circuit racing mostly. I doubt actual driving for this would be part of their contract, especially since PR events and videoshoots are quantified in time in contracts (for example 10 hours of photoshoot/year) and considering this filming would have taken forever, it's next to impossible they took real drivers for it.
