  • One of the most intense border crossings I've ever experienced, I entered a completely different world after walking from Egypt's Sinai Peninsula into Israel.

      Hi Ratukom, I bought the bus ticket at the Go Bus office in the center of Dahab, and caught the bus just across the street at the little bus stop area.

    Hi is nat necessary to get private transportation fron cairo to taba border? We can do it on city bus? I WILL BE THERE NEXT FEBRUARY

    • @benbrazyoutube
      @benbrazyoutube  10 місяців тому

      You can take a regular bus from Cairo to Dahab which is quite cheap (see my previous video about Egypt's Sinai Peninsula). From Dahab, there are buses to Taba Heights which is 20 kms from the border but no local transportation directly to the border. Luckily, we were about 10 people on that bus to Taba Heights, so we all paid the driver a bit more and he drove us directly to the border.

    how many hours driving from the Israel to Egypt border?

    • @benbrazyoutube
      @benbrazyoutube  11 місяців тому

      From Dahab it's about 2 hours by bus to Taba Heights where the bus driver wanted to drop us, and another 10 minutes to the actual border.

    Due to the Israel-Hamas war, is this border-crossing still doable?

    BTW if you stay more than one month, which is your visa, you will pay fine only. You can come back to egypt anytime they won't ban you like other countries

    after you got off the bus at taba, how far did you walk to the immigration office ? is there a taxi there?

    • @benbrazyoutube
      @benbrazyoutube  Рік тому +1

      I didn't see any taxis in the area, I don't think they operate there, but it's only about 1 km from where the bus dropped us to the immigration office, the walk took 10-15 minutes. Officially, the bus only goes as far as Taba Heights, but we were about 10 passengers going to the border, so we paid a little extra for the bus to drive us the last 20 kms.
