One of the most intense border crossings I've ever experienced, I entered a completely different world after walking from Egypt's Sinai Peninsula into Israel.
Hi Ratukom, I bought the bus ticket at the Go Bus office in the center of Dahab, and caught the bus just across the street at the little bus stop area.
You can take a regular bus from Cairo to Dahab which is quite cheap (see my previous video about Egypt's Sinai Peninsula). From Dahab, there are buses to Taba Heights which is 20 kms from the border but no local transportation directly to the border. Luckily, we were about 10 people on that bus to Taba Heights, so we all paid the driver a bit more and he drove us directly to the border.
BTW if you stay more than one month, which is your visa, you will pay fine only. You can come back to egypt anytime they won't ban you like other countries
@@benbrazyoutube yes thanks a lot of your information... But im so worried about me because im indonesia do not have a good diplomatic country with Israel... I dont know... I want try but iam fear wkwkkk... And you are american?
@@milakhairu9743 Ah yes I'm sorry about that, I don't know what the visa situation is for Indonesian citizens. I'm sure there is information online. Do you have a government website with travel information? I'm Canadian and we have a good website with visa information
I didn't see any taxis in the area, I don't think they operate there, but it's only about 1 km from where the bus dropped us to the immigration office, the walk took 10-15 minutes. Officially, the bus only goes as far as Taba Heights, but we were about 10 passengers going to the border, so we paid a little extra for the bus to drive us the last 20 kms.
Thanks so much for watching! I really enjoyed my time in Israel, and yes it was sooo expensive but I still managed to travel pretty cheap. More videos to come 😉
I did not see the stupidest of this comment at all, when you say about Egypt, world 3, and we are the kings of civilization, and you were our slaves, and I will defeat you again. Your country is full of me, the size of a street in Egypt. 😂😂😂🇪🇬🇪🇬🇪🇬🖕🖕🖕

how many hours driving from the Israel to Egypt border?
From Dahab it's about 2 hours by bus to Taba Heights where the bus driver wanted to drop us, and another 10 minutes to the actual border.
Due to the Israel-Hamas war, is this border-crossing still doable?
I don’t know, but I’d be surprised

Yeah I heard about that! Good to know. I didn't want to pay a fine though haha

Sure, but she was doubting my last name, as if it wasn’t real
