Ok thanks for the info. Looks like I will follow in your footsteps but luckily have friends near Nang Khai. Thanks for sharing your adventure.
So I perhaps missed something. Why did you have to go into the main city? Could you not have just gone back thru immigration and crossed back in? Or was there some office you had to visit and stay the night? Thanks.
Nope didn't need to go into Vientiane, I just wanted to make the trip more worthwhile. I could have just turned around at immigration and immediately re-entered Thailand.

But addictive
About 20 years ago, while at a hostel in Singapore, I met a bunch of Europeans that were going from there to Bali. At the time, Bush was telling the world that Indonesians were out to kill Americans. State Dept. issued travel warnings about Indo. I asked the kids going to Bali if they were afraid. They were from Germany and Belgium. Of course, they said no. So I asked if I could tag along (thinking the "killers" wouldn't spot me as an American and I'd be safe). 😛 Off we went. Guy from Germany determines we go on that ferry to Batam. A ferry that sat really low in the water. We got off and there were only a handful of buildings in the "downtown" and we were going to the airport anyway to fly to Jakarta. The plane cancelled and the next flight was hours away, so I got a taxi back into the town. I didn't aske, but the driver insisted he'd wait for me. After "shopping" I came out and he was still there, so I asked if he'd take me back to the airport. He drove on quite a different path than we came. He spoke little English and I didn't know any Indonesian. He was a little guy and nice enough, but I still felt like I was being kidnapped to be robbed or something. All of sudden, we were at his house that was part of mass sort of encampment of attached housing made of concrete walls. He goes in to get his wife and son. His wife walks to the door. She has her face covered in Cold Cream and he invites me in. The whole idea of it was that I was the only American he'd ever seen and he wanted to show me to his family. It was great! After about a half hour there with his wife and son, he takes me back to the airport. Fear and fun in Batam! And I never would have even thought to go there without the opportunity to tag along on the trek across Java to Bali... I look forward to seeing your stuff from Sumatra. To see what has become of Banda Aceh since the tsunami.
Hello my friends please visit Pontianak city west Borneo Kalimantan Barat Indonesia is equatorial monument in world in Pontianak city welcome to visit Pontianak city is wonderful my friends ❤❤😊
Always be wary of the cows!
Haha that’s right Nitz! I’m bumming around the Lao countryside on a scooter at this moment and constantly avoiding cows in the road 😅
كيف يمكنني الحصول عليه!؟
Maybe you can find it online! Otherwise, go to a Sri Lankan pharmacy 🤪
Shoe size appartment as usual in Thailand for new construction.
Small apartment but how about those common areas!!
@ yes common areas are amazing !!!!
good condo i went to see some apartments....just too much wind on the pool , little bit disturbing
I'd love to see more properties as well! I found there was almost no wind by the pool actually
Oh my Buddha, you are speaking like you have been living in a tent all your life. You behave like a little boy, that never have been in a good condo building or an obscure hotel 🙈
Bad filming spoilt the video …
My bad bro... any tips?
One thing i can't get used to in Thailand and also the Philippines is that some people just look at their phone during conversations. I notice it every time
Similar to Da Nang with the construction, but until it gets all built up, pretty nice! Any idea of what utilities cost for one unit per month? Electric, Internet, Water & Gas?
Excellent and very luxurious condo building. The vista from it is the best I've seen Pattaya. Even better than the view from Buddha Hill in Pratumnak. We'll definitely sample it for a few days when we are next in town in a few weeks' time. But how pathetic and misogynistic is the headline of this video? The headline "Thai girl show me" is pathetic, gives demeaning sexual connotation and is wrong. Why not, "Lettings staff show me"? Or simply, Luxury condo building in Pattaya? Please STOP this immature and pervasive sexualisation of everything Thailand.
Glad to hear you'll be checking out this beautiful property. "Thai girl shows me" is literally, word-for-word, exactly what happens in the video. You're the only person who has perceived it as sexualization. YOUR mind went to "sexual connotation" when there is absolutely nothing sexual about the video or its title.
That's not luxury looks into a construction site. Small my bathroom is bigger. Way over priced!
It is but they can't stop others building their own stuff on their on land. Once must have obstructed others too while they built theirs. Yes, the place is costly but calling is "over priced" is subjective. You get what you pay for in life. I doubt your place which you've insinuated is priced less, has an infinity pool over Pattaya city and the ocean; and all that state of the art electric buttons. That's what buyers with discerning taste, deep pocket and affordability pay for. It's certainly worth it to them. It's OK if you are not in that league. No probleeeem, as our Thai people say.
Not luxury??? You should see the places I usually stay at 😂😂
Tu es Québécois!!!!!
Tu peux être sûr de ça le gros!
Trading in the tent for the luxury condo. Nice
Hahaha oh I'll be back in the tent very soon 😅
How much are the condo fees? And what about the municipal/school taxes if any?
Go and find out on their website.
Hi @washerrrr I’m told that the only condo fees are electricity according to the government rate of 4 baht per unit, water is 35 baht per unit, and Internet depends on the speed you choose.
Welcome to beautiful property in Pattaya 🙏🏻😊
Thank you so much for the wonderful condo tour Pemi. See you again soon!
What was your itinerary for this part of your trip? Fly to Vientiane, rent a moped, then go back into Thailand?
Actually I found this moped in Udon Thani (see earlier videos) and drove up to Nong Khai, then followed the Mekong until Nakhon Phanom. Every rental company I asked would not rent a scooter for interprovincial travel, only for local travel.
Hello sir, please where can I enter bus going to taba heights in Egypt,am currently living in cairo
I think they have buses directly from Cairo to Taba Heights, and if not you can take a bus from Dahab to Taba Heights
Hello brother,am a new suscriber to your channel,am currently in Cairo Egypt, but i will like to visit isreal by taba-border,so whats the requirements to that for foreigners residing in Egypt
Hey mate! With my Canadian passport I didn't need anything, I just arrived at the border, was asked a few questions, and then allowed to enter Israel for free. I don't know about other nationalities unfortunately. And I wonder if things might have changed a bit in the last two years...
You are fools 😀
And you're so smart 😀
Hello, where did you start the journey on the scooter? Is a motorcycle license required, and helmet mandatory?
Hi! I started in Udon Thani where I found the only scooter rental company that would allow me to travel interprovincially with their scooter. I believe a regular international drivers license is required to drive abroad but I've never been asked for one. Helmet is not mandatory but I insist on always wearing one.
Fess up, driving around all day every day on a crap scooter is pure hell.
Hahaha! Did you have a bad experience or something? To be honest I didn't mind it at all, as long as you take frequent breaks. One day I powered like 320 kms in 5 hours and still felt fine
Thanks for taking us along! Beautiful!
My pleasure Craig! Thanks for joining in on the journey 🙌
Amazing! These videos are really inspiring me to take a trip like this one day soon. Even the thought of getting one of those 400 baht hotel rooms gets me more excited than the thought of staying in an expensive hotel , they just look so cozy and peaceful and you get to see real Thailand. So paradoxical how this looks so incredibly fun yet is costing minimal
I couldn't have said it better myself. I have often found that the most epic, memorable adventures are the ones that cost the least. Hitchhiking and wild-camping have changed my life for the better. Doing epic stuff for little or no money is true freedom, in my opinion. It gets me excited every time. By coincidence, I just landed back in Thailand today (my videos are usually published long after filming) and I can't wait to get back into the wild for some more adventures.
@benbrazyoutube Oh wow! lucky, What a coincidence. Enjoyyy it mate :)
Great video Ben, would love to take a trip like this one day.
Thanks for the kind words Brutal Turtle. I hope you'll have the chance. It's truly inspiring.
Beautiful morning on the Mekong!
The absolute best. Can't wait to go back.
Thankful for no elephant incidents again . The scooter seems to be very reliable ?
Hahaha yeah I'm not looking to encounter any elephants. Yeah despite the obvious wear on the scooter and its relatively high kms, I had no issues with it all week, putting on over 1000 kms and pushing it pretty hard at times.
FIRST THEY LOOK FOR THE LEAST EXPENSIVE HOTEL AND THEN THEY GO TO THE CASINO TO THROW THE SLOTS MONEY IN THE GARBAGE
lol FIRST OF ALL ONLY BRACA PLAYED IN THE CASINO, MAINLY JUST FOR THE EXPERIENCE AND SECONDLY YEAR WE'RE BUDGET TRAVELLERS AND THEREFORE MUST CHOOSE CAREFULLY WHEN AND WHERE WE SPEND OUR MONEY
How far did you have to walk to get to the panoramic view?
Not so far, maybe 20 minutes from that nearest pyramid? It's all within a pretty easy walking distance. Bring water though... the sun is strong and it gets hot in summer time.
"You look Egyptian" every scammer's favourite line
Hahaha yeah I must have heard it a million times...
How amazing!
Thanks for following Nitz! Can't wait to see what you're cookin up
