For anyone studing history, I'd 100% recommend "A Little History of the World", by EH Gombrich, it's a short, delightful book, whenever we start a new chapter in History, I'l always read the corresponding chapter in the book.

Honestly don’t even worry about this. I’ve been reading on my own for a while now, and I’ve noticed that my scores on English assignments, tests, and exams as well as the ACT have been fairly high, with a lot less studying than for other sections. Just read something everyday, whether it’s actually an informative book or just some novel.

That does seem effecient. I'm mainly interested in romance novels, and I often look up unfamiliar words from them. I try to use context clues, but I usually still don't get it. I'm also trying to learn a new language, so when I read, I immediately write down a new word and its meaning just in case i need to go back to it. So I'll apply the same thing with words in English bc I'd recognize the word but often forget the meaning

Each section concentrates on a different facet of warfare and draws out important themes such as communication, strength and positioning. It is quite hard to read for a beginner or a non-native English speaker but it’s a timeless classic of East Asian culture and history and is still taught in some colleges today.

There is one God, who created Heaven and Earth. He made us in His image and likeness. He made us to worship and we chose to rebel against God. As a result we are seperated from God but God didn’t leave us. Instead God sent His one and only Son, His Son is Jesus. He was born of a virgin and lived a life without sin, though He was tempted in every way as we are. He went on the cross and He willingly took our sins past, present and future. Jesus died in my place for my sins, paying my debt to God and purchasing my salvation. Jesus died but He rose on the third day victory over satan, sin, demons and hell. Jesus tells us to share this story of the Good News and there’s a God that lovingly pursues us. Jesus is coming to judge the living and the dead and those who trust in God will forever be with Him in His Kingdom and those who do not will suffer forever in hell.

My grandfather is 90+ years old, so he doesn't have anything to do. However, he Is still very strong regardless of his age, and goes down to walk a bit and get some things from the grocery store like fruits, vegetables, etc. He also loves to read. He has a copy of Sapiens, and last year, my uncle bought him a short history of nearly everything. So even though he is old, he is smart, strong, and knows how to keep himself entertained. Thankyou for reading this (if you did) because l know this boring AF 😅
