Tareq Hadhad is a shining example of how immigrants can enhance Canada. Since moving to Nova Scotia he has created multiple jobs for locals in the Antigonish area, contributes to community fund raisers and sponsors community activities. He shows his gratitude for the opportunities he was given by giving back. The chocolates are delicious and he is a very sharp businessman with excellent marketing skills. We are lucky to have him here in Nova Scotia.
Trust me most of Syrian are genius but we jad have to flee our beloved Country Syria ..the cradle of Civilizations i am also a refugee in Southeast Asia
Peace by Chocolate has become a recognizable name here in NS. We really are lucky to have them here! But honestly, even if we were to pretend that the company was not able to take off, that it took years and years to just get grounded, I'd still be proud to say that our province provided a safe place for the Hadhad family. When you're able to help someone, you should; doesn't matter where they were born.
Absolutely wonderful! We give his chocolates to family and friends near and far on special occasions. Love Peace by Chocolate - and such an appropriate name given his story.
I had the pleasure and the honor of meeting him at his store on one of my many trips to Nova Scotia. I purchased a couple of boxes of chocolate to give away as gifts to friends back in Ontario. Unfortunately for the chocolates, they were gone long before I came back home.

I hate this video because it proves post media publications and people like Ezra Levant right. CBC is a propaganda arm for the Liberal Party and the NDP. Why are we taking millionaires as refugees?
I loooooove Peace by Chocolate. We drove by a few years ago, just because of the story, and met these wonderful people. The next thing you know we were buying gifts for all our friends. Our friends never got them. We had to make another trip, and have been doing annually since. We always order for Christmas. We make a Christmas party when they arrive. I'd order them every week, but I want to keep looking half as good as Tareq.
I assure you the vast majority are, this is coming from someone who has been working over 10 years with new immigrants. The positive warm energy and optimism that new immigrants brings with them is something that MANY long time residents could use too. Considering that, the very basic stuff that is taken for granted by many "old stock Canadians" is enjoyed 10x more by those who didn't have it back home.

I made a joke to my co-worker who is from the US here in Canada I said exactly this: "Did you know Nasa found Aliens?" She was shocked and I told her I was joking... then after wards she honestly remarked that she thought I was mentioning the derogatory term 'illegal aliens.' She thought I made a joke about people seeking Asylum. It's so different over there. We need more Canadian-friendly media.
@@Spunky-iq8jm First off how many episodes of "This Hour has 22 Minutes" have you watched, because it has been on for over 20 years and it has always been a news and political satirical comedy show. Also, they interview a lot of different people on this show.
