I am in the middle of Crying in H Mart. My mother passed when she was this author’s mom’s age, and I was a bit younger than the author. I’m relating so much to it. It’s a gut punch - but so beautiful and touching! Loved your wrap up!

I'm very sorry to hear about your mother. It is interesting that so many people relate in so many ways to that book. Thank you for your kind words.

I have found a new vlogger to follow, yay! I just love your intelligent thoughts on these popular books and how you said your opinion, no matter what. I only read a few chapters of Addie LaRue. I read part of H Mart but it was too melancholy for me, who no longer has my mother with us. I read Girl on the Train and enjoyed it, though it gave rise to a slew of titles with Girl in them. I have put the Dictionary of Lost Words on my to-read list now. I tend to read more genre books than you but I loved hearing about these books that I am familiar with (a former book blogger). Thanks!

Wow, that's so kind. I'm so happy you liked it. I'm sorry about your mother. I can imagine that book would be very difficult to anyone who's lost theirs. Please let me know if you read the Dictionary of Lost Words. I'd love to know your thoughts. Thanks again for the thoughtful post!

Hi!! I’m a newer subscriber and have been watching all your videos💕. I picked up The Library of Lost Words on your recommendation and finished it today. Let me tell you….I absolutely LOVED it. Like everything about it! I also read the authors note too and I usually don’t lol. I don’t own it (got it from the library) but will be on the lookout for it at used bookstores. Thanks so much for your channel!!! So many booktubers read the saaaaame books so if you watch one you watch most. Your channel is refreshing and I love that you include trips and camping and vegan food (being a fellow vegan myself). So happy I found you!

I enjoyed Crying in H Mart last fall. The Dictionary of Lost Words sounds great! I enjoyed Girl on the Train years ago but didn't think it quite deserved all the hype it got. I've never tried listened to an audio at a higher speed. The Guide is on my TBR shelf for fall :) I love Peter Heller. I've been hearing good things about Kim Jiyoung. I enjoyed Addie Larue on audio. Sounds like you had a great reading month in July!
