@@Author_Alyssa_Taylor I remember Gene Hackman talking about how hard he found it to take his role in Superman seriously, acting against this guy wearing tights. Maybe not exactly the same, but I thought he did it brilliantly when the pump was on the other foot.
This man is a national treasure and in this house, we respect the king of all Broadway!
I don't watch a lot of celebrity interviews but Nathan Lane is a must-see for me. He is amazing.

Just got back from a week in NYC. I encourage everybody to go. I saw four shows, all well worth it, and I attended a global music fest, an NBA game, a taping of Late Night with Seth Meyers, and visited MOMA, the Guggenheim, and the Whitney, all in six days. Use the half price ticket booth and save money. Go! I stayed at an Airbnb in midtown and walked everywhere. 116,000 steps! (About 110 kms). New Yorkers are so friendly! Really. And very hospitable. Even at the Knicks game when I was wearing a Raptors shirt, the staff and the public was friendly.
Not to hurry anything, but post-Angela Landsbury, Nathan Lane has ascended to the highest living Broadway royalty. May he reign for many decades. All hail.

Nathan Lane comes PREPARED to every interview and that professionalism pays off every time. I watched several of his virtual appearances on various shows during lockdown and he somehow made those work brilliantly, too. What a treasure.

Nathan Lane is a wonderful treasure. He is a true New Yorker and a pillar of Broadway, to the extent that is even a place any more. But NL is a special treasure. I hope he never stops his love of performing. I love him so.
