- One of the most groundbreaking mountain bike releases in the last decade (in my opinion), after watching the whole production process first hand and seeing how much knowledge and hard work goes into creating one of their bikes I was truly amazed and I hope this Dream Build film does them justice.
Brands/people deserve credit for breaking the mould and doing something different, everyone at Atherton Bikes has worked so hard to create a totally new genre of how the mountain bike should be created and presented in my opinion. Undoubtedly among my favourite builds. The Unno series, the Hope HB 130 and now this Atherton are, for me, the masterpieces of this channel... until now, I hope. Amazing bike and build, beautifully captured on video. Thank you.

The process of making the lugs was like watching a sci-fi film, truly amazing tech.

i love how the tires go on easy and the dropper cable comes rite out of the seatpost! editing magic!
I like his method of measuring and cutting the steerer, 9 spacers prior, 5 after below, and having a bit of tube above the stem after.
Trp dh-r evo brakes silver or gold edition also fits the color scheme on that astonishing bike! Man I absolutely love this build!💯💯💯
Best yet!!! To see how these have been developed & manufactured, before build shows just how much belief they had in themselves to get these beasts into production, because I bet it wasn't plain sailing all the way, stunning machinery and bike in general!!! 👌🏼😍🔥
Stunning, absolutely stunning. The manufacturing process is bonkers.! When you think it was steel or ali tubes just 30 odd years ago and now this, it’s amazing. Respect the the R&D team to be able to create such a process 🙌😎

Dmls (direct metal laser sintering) absolutely a revolutionary process. I use to work with parts made in the same way out of nylon (sls - selective laser sintering) for rapid prototyping.
The 3D printing blew my mind. This dream build is up there in my fav. There is an Artistic form to it

Just commented on doddy's video bout latest dh bikes saying that Atherton is my pick but change the dh fork to enduro fork and also the mech with 1x12 here it is now....wow i mean WOW.! Now its my new dream bike!

Oh man getting the prints of the substrate. I know that hassle to well from work having multiple thousand dollar parts for the automobile indutry and you just have to got at it with a hammer and a chisel.

Epic, my favourite build to date.. I wonder if they would leave the frame unpainted and fully raw with only a clear coat.. that would really highlight the manufacture
Raw is an option and they do look incredible. No clear coat on the lugs, just lacquered tubes

Uh! That is very interesting to see how much effort you put in the 3D parts. Seems that these 3D parts are the most expensive of all the parts.
There's so much about this that's the tops, but as always I just really enjoy the correct and liberal use of red loctite.
