"Playing the music is the simplest thing in the world. Just use everything that you have."

This is the great undiscussed subject! What instrument makers don't understand yet is that people who are gripped by music WANT to practice. I knew I was not going to be great at first. DUH! But, I literally loved passionately every single second of developing into a confident player. Making mistakes is funny. Playing perfect is ecstacy that is tied with orgasm for first place. Practice is a synonym for do. If you are going to do music you have to practice music. It is a joy, a true joy, to practice. The fact that it is hard - I find double-stops on the cello to be the hardest of all besides oboe - is the fun of overcoming weakness.

Ludovico Rapaccioni He is saying that when you start out with anything, it won’t be good at first. But with practice you can be good.

I interested to learn playing cello. But i don’t think we have a cellist here in Philippines who are good enough to share their talents for free.

Gregorio Senora if you can afford to buy a cello, please consider paying musicians to teach you - they need to earn a living too

K B-Go i didn’t say i can afford a cello, i was just saying if there’s a free tutorial (includes free use of cello) that would be a great idea. If this is impossible to happen, i’ll be okay imagining myself playing cello while listening to Yo-Yo Ma haha
