Kanye is a victim of his own success. He’s gotten so big that he’s surrounded by tons of yes men, allowing Kanye to make a fool out of himself and drown in his ego, destroying the legacy that he may leave one day, and it’s very sad to see. Great video Shawn, keep it up man.

His interviews prove this, the reason why he is sort of a boring person to talk to but someone who means well. He doesn't spew bullshit or misinformation, Cole has made it clear he doesn't even like that REASON WHY HE IS SORT OF A RECLUSE but with a wife and child. Kanye speaks his mind on the spot... so he never thinks about what he says next, just says something to fill the air. You can see why people were against canceling Cole over being a "misogynist" with the whole Noname situation. The only similarities they have is the message in their music by covering black live stories and a family. I'm surprised Kanye hadn't cooled after settling with Kim and having kids, Cole did it, why is it so hard for Kanye?

If you're afflicted with a chronic mental illness like Bipolar disorder (especially type I) or God forbid schizophrenia you have almost zero concept of your own reality. If you reach full-blown mania (which Kanye seems to hit at least twice annually) you're completely out of control. This has to do with a deteriorating mental state and he's been declining for years while ignoring proper treatment. This has little to nothing to do with ego or narcissism.

I am manic depressive bipolar, and the way he is acting is me when I'm having a manic episode. Imo he really needs his meds, or it is a matter of time before this goes very bad .. that scares me for him. I don't know the person I am when I'm not on mine. The worst part is you really don't think you need them until you are on them for months. Then you look back embarrassed and so confused and can't believe that was you..that's when the depression and the low hits. It can be a rollercoaster, but everyone is different. What works for one person may not work for another. I'm just praying for Kanye's peace❤

The thing is, Kanye HAD real friends, and he turned them all away when they tried to reach out to him and help him. John Legend reached out to him and tried to talk to him about his behavior to try and calm him down but instead Kanye posted their entire text thread onto Twitter and lashed out on him for it on social media.
That has been the recurrence with that Kanye. Every time one of his friends or family members tried reaching out to him, he'd always deflect his personal problems onto them publically no matter how privately they tried to talk to him. It's not really a matter of him needing real friends, its a matter of if Kanye wants to do it to help himself. The only person that can pop that ego bubble is himself. Kanye has to help Kanye.
Giving him overblown publicity and attention feeds this troubled mentality which is why it's best to not support his antics so that he can open his eyes and realize his mistakes.

I seriously started crying when I saw the video. Everything that has happened to him over the past few years has gotten to him, he’s still hurting from the loss of his mother, hurting from the news that he was almost aborted, and hurting from the fact that he almost aborted his own daughter. I don’t think that people should criticize him, but instead support him through this time and get him to a better place. Kanye is my favorite artist of all time and listening to his music has made me feel like he’s literally one of my friends, he’s helped me through the lows of my life, and provided me some of the music linked with my highs. I think that one woman perfectly represents what Ye’s issue is- perspective. No one challenges his thoughts; no one is real with him and it causes his mind to fall into a narrow view of reality. He’s so deep in that reality that when someone just slightly speaks and its something different than what he thinks he doesn’t know how to address it. When you’re close circles don’t give you more perspectives or different ideas and they only tell you, “you’re right” then you won’t have a complete view of an idea or situation.

Seeing the stream of his rally reminded me of my uncle who recently had a mental breakdown, but with Kanye of course it on a much larger and more public scale. Kanye is deeply in need of help, because if he doesn’t get it something terrible may happen.
