I should've clarified, I said "unlike in the real series." Basically I meant to say/imply that she did die in the end and spoilers Tenseiga couldn't revive her when she did her full Heel Face Turn in the end. Sorry if I didn't explain well. :(
Since Inuyasha Feudal Combat is sooner compared to the real ending as of now, it's obvious discontinuities would stem from there.
