As soon as you fix your plasterboard to the ceiling your membrane will be pierced, so I don't see the point of struggling with the tape; unless the tap has the ability to ceil around the nails / screws.
The Twinet tape is used only as an installation aid. It does not create any airtightness around nails or screws, but it makes your work easier when you are working above your head. It also reduces the need for stapler clips. In general we want to avoid piercing the membrane as much as we can. We also recommend an additional layer of slats to ceate a substructure for your plasterboard. This way, your screws will not pierce the membrane. Best regards Your SIGA Team
