The deal with Betty tingpay and her husband was not so much because of linda, but because of Betty's real life husband after Bruce died. Betty married Charles hung. He was a martial art movie star in his own right, and not a bad screen fighter. But he was also a very high ranking triad in the movie industry he was furious with the rumors and the jealousy and what not. Supposedly Betty was either beginning her relationship or had been betrothed to Charles for a bit while she was courting Bruce Lee. That's why a lot of people feel there was a triad element in Bruce Lee's death. Look at the film goose boxer. That's where Charles was at in terms of ability. He's still alive I think, and it's kind of hush hush. But that's pretty much what the deal was with them in that movie. They really didn't want to piss off the triads, or it could be feasible enough that Charles was backing the film financially in some way. I can't remember what movie studio put it out. Real quick just forgive me if the sentence structure and grammar are a little off. I'm dictating this into my phone. Anyways, as far as Bruce Lee imposters go Bruce Li is . very damn good
It's like reading a Bruce Lee, philosophy reader novelist but leave it to Me Who I have Claudia, Sylvia Daughter, typing for the real Bruce Lee Daughter, Shannon and Brother Brandon Lee. Who We are now all reunited with God and all tribe Heir Family ❤❤❤ Thanks. Bless to all Tribes Heirloom.❤❤❤❤
Haha thanks for checking these oldies out! These were before I set up my condenser Microphone so I don't love the audio on them, but appreciate ya giving them a Gander
One more thing. I apologize for leaving so many comments, but I really dig your series on these films. My favorite Bruce Lee film I think is the gold connection. I know it keeps saying Bruce lee, but keep in mind I'm still driving. Anyway I know you know who I'm talking about. The gold connection is just a great movie with a lot of talent from a damn good independent company. And the end fight is one of the best ever committed to celluloid in my opinion
No worries, I appreciate all the support and comments! And I have to revisit Gold Connection, not sure if I've seen that one. I've seen/heard the Clones Cast on it tho and def sounds great from everyone's description
When I was very little, they showed this on samurai sunday. I was absolutely enamored by Bruce lee, and I actually really liked the imposters. This one in particular very much. When I saw the ending where they said he left to refine his art and his instructor basically told him to not give away his whereabouts, I literally jump for joy. I think I was seven at the time? I was like that's it! I knew it! I was very gullible when it came to Bruce Lee back then.
@@MartialArtsTheater3000 dude it really was! I mean, I saw it well after 1983, but I though that he just stayed in hiding....waiting for the right time. I was just waiting for him to come out and beat the tar outta JCVD and the like! ( I was picked on quite a bit at school for saying Bruce would beat all of them, so I remained steadfast in my conviction since I saw this as proof, hahaha!)
Seen this when I was very young on VHS, it was amazing, later I watch it again and again still think the same. I notice when he fights those 3 guys in that derelict area, the nunchaku scene is all cut very heavily, I've seen it complete though online and it does not disappoint. Think this was done by Ng see yuan who done no retreat no surrender, great director, done some hard hitting classics. Man the myth is brilliant story, characters, flights. Check it out. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for checking it out! I think the cut nunchaku scene is from the UK cut where displaying Nunchaku on screen was illegal for 30+ years. (And actually the director of No Retreat was Corey Yeun, that one is an 80s classic i loved when i was little!)
@@MartialArtsTheater3000 sorry, your right. Ng did the story with Corey yuan kwai, and produced it, ng see yuan you see worked for seasonal films, they done some great films, when martial arts films were real hard hitting. I notice around that time, most nunchaku scenes were cut, then years later censers installed them.
I think if I am a friend of Bruce Lee. I wont like to be with him most of the time. In this movie, he is a war freak! I think in real life Bruce Lee seldom went into a fight. The only thing I remember was he sparred with Chinese men on the rooftop, The Big Boss fight with a local by stander and at Enter The Dragon film shoot.
Bruce Lee The Man The Myth a classic!!! The outfits and hair styles were off in the 60s scene. Bruce Lee bowl cut grew to Bruce Li size when he did Enter The Dragon 🤔🤔🤔..The costume on Big Boss, Way Of The Dragon, and Enter The Dragon were wrong 💯💯💯💯 the student walking with Bruce Lee in Enter The Dragon wasn't even in The Real Enter The Dragon 🤔🤔🤔🤔 i dont see no Jeet Kune Do Bruce Lee was fluid!!! Whats with the electric machine???

Gold Conection was made by a company called Goldig they made some fantastic movies including Snake in the monkey's shadow.
