I get what you mean by "resort" but I'd just like for people to experience the game as they wish. To me, it's not a matter of skill but a matter of time. Some people take less time to "git gud" but at some point, even the worst player can complete an encounter. Maybe you just don't wanna learn a boss for 2 hours (Black Blade Kindred). I can do any boss normally given enough time, but I like using Latenna! I try to maximize and optimize her potential because I think it's fun. At some point, I'll give myself a challenge like parry only but that's somewhere within the dozen+ playthroughs I'll do in the future.
I love how wholesome this is. it’s almost like a couple playing an MMORPG together, the boyfriend is playing as a warrior tank and the girl is playing as an archer class. Just having fun.
4:24 She got aimpunched in the middle of her Carian Sovereignty. An arrow hit her at just the right moment that her flinch animation moved her sword arm as she was swinging. Crazy, I wouldn’t have believed it was possible for a boss if I didn’t see it.
That's crazy, really good catch! It makes sense since her model actually twitches when getting hit by arrows. Mesmer has a similar reaction but his tracking is significantly better than Relanna's.
I used Mimic tear with night comet and the magic shield buff on my carian night shield. She doesn't do a ton of stamina damage per hit so shields are super good vs her.
Or you could've just killed her normally... that ""tactic"" of yours wont work for a single boss after this one.
