Great title! You guys rock been watching since the beginning! Love everything thing you guys do!
I know MK3 Supra's had an optional factory system that worked in th same way. Possibly some skylines also.
My 1990 MK3 Supra had stock adjustable suspension..it might be magnetic, but I don't know for sure.
There's a button on the dash that swaps between stiff or soft.
what happened to the evo?
33.32 ........ Disrespected sausage
Cable ties: Don't open the top of the bag. Cut across the center of the bag. You can pull out a tie and the rest won't fall out.
That's a big brain tip. Thanks
I too am excited about the BMWD-40. The Silicone 3 Series.
ah yes, the bavarian money and wallet displacer. a well known produce to be sure!
....I see what you did there.
@@WD40CompanyAustralia Well I do own and use both so it seemed a natural fit lol.
Well done sir
How you can do all the innuendo stuff without cracking up is impressive.
You can tell they've been good friends for a long time.
@@ImCannibalOfficial Indeed.:)
Editing?
Yes so much double entendre, too much pogoing without enough stiffness caused the shaft to break ;)
It isn't hard ... really.. You just.. desensitise yourself to it.
Years ago, my girlfriend would sit across from me with a perplexed look. And ask, "what in the world are you watching??"
nowadays I get a loving look, followed by, "oh a new episode?"
Time to train a new one ... lel
Anthony Foxx ,keeper.
Considering the "stuffs" Marty and Moog said, anyone would think we're watching porn. 🤣
Your girlfriends a guy?
I feel ya mine used to be annoyed at all the “car nerd” shit I used to do but now she’s asking me if I want to go look at cars downtown and sending me pics of what she sees I the wild, it’s weird man.
"Does it need a bracket? No...." Nik feels a disturbance in the Force....
This one should have been called “Disrespected BMW”
New supra is disrespected bmw
I was about to say. They are getting a new supra and the BMW manual is a hint to BMW engines.
Coldoh86 you make a good point.
Although i would rather see an e30 36 or 46 but too common for this channel
I used to have a friend that I used to do all this sort of stuff with, and have this sort of relationship with. He's not around anymore but watching these unedited videos really reminds me of him. Thanks for doing these kinds of videos, they bring back good memories. Gonna finish that project car for him.

I found your channel about 6-7 months ago and even though I have no interest in car modding, I don't even drive or have a license, I watch everything and go back to watch your old stuff all because of the comradery between you two, especially the innuendo parts. Absolute comedy gold.
Marty: “a project car is never finished”
Also Marty: “well this is finished it just need some improvements”
Still Marty: **pulls entire interior apart**
You have to admit though, pulling interior WAAAAY easier than the transmission or engine or exhaust.
Space Emperor Karl very true. Although pulling is easier then putting it back - there’s always one clip missing or doesn’t want to go back in.. 😂
It isnt.......
At 5:29 When Martin said “what?” it looked as though he had been on that old can bong they found in Tay Tay!😂
For Marty - I had a 1990 Supra that had what Toyota called "TEMS" (Toyota Electronically Modulated Suspension). It had a 3 settings - Soft, Normal, and Sport. It had little motors on top of each damper like yours but I'm pretty sure they weren't steppers. Probably much simpler like spring loaded center with reversing polarity to select either side of center .
Had the same thing on my 88. It even would dynamically stiffen them a bit if it noticed you cornering hard. Pretty basic, but it worked.
Yup my 91 Soarer has active damping TEMS from factory you don't even need to set it but it drives like a dream
"I'm just gonna roll the rubber back, but it's so tight".

"Why would you hit like right after starting the video?"
Me: "It's impossible to not love an MCM video"
@@douganderson7002 look man, I've been watching MCM for years now, and i can't think of a single video they made that I didn't enjoy. I've watched every single video here and mcmtv2.

"Dont throw that, bmw people would get so angry" yeet

That is the part where i click the like button on this video XD
This is too true especially in California
I have a BMW and I don't care...
Okay, I'm also not really a BMW guy. JDM all the way! Yesterday I heard a rumble behind me and a R34 GT-R drove by me. And I got really excited! Like embarrassingly so...
@@vinzenzgeske8987 It happens to all of us!😂
"the bmw thats coming" Yeeet
hoping for a E34 :D
Yeeet!
For those who don’t know “Yeet” means to throw. As in ‘yeet it in the pond’. Sometimes describing the sound made while throwing something heavy. This is an old slang term used in the swamps of Louisiana.
I’m not sure how or why it’s being used in this context.
@@DmnkRocks I'm a sucker for E30's so I rooting for that one haha, both would be really cool though!
e46 330i or ci would be awesome, maybe worked to compete with m3? would be really expensive though. Otherwise budget 323i with cheap ebay supercharger or turbo would be cool too :D
As a 90s bmw lover, I'm excite. Also, wont be the last time you throw that book.
When they start lobbing Bentley manuals across the workshop, then it's a BMW project.
"get out" 😂😂🤣👍👌
The fear in Moog with Marty behind the wheel 😂
Just what a need. Love the friendship you pair display, genuine and heart warming!

So glad super gramps is back in the mix with new mods!
The ending is a good appropriate response to such nonsense.
So glad there's more SuperGramps coming 😍😍
1982 - 1985 Mazda 929 Hard top and coupe had adjustable dampers from inside the car , in the centre console. It also had auto setting, which hardened up the front shocks after 70 kph. Star wars dash, cruise control, electric everything. Fantastic cars. Cheers Guys.
Kuzco's coilovers. The coilovers made especially for Kuzco...

Keep on modding and being yourselves guys... just can’t wait until I can afford to get something from the store to support you but enjoying the content til then! 😃
Big props Marty for tossing that BMW book. And Moog at the end, when he said plant based diet. LMAO
😂
What i love about your videos, i want to like them like 4 times while watching the video
The scream is golden 5:50
Extra THUMB UP for Marty launching that damn book!
Tech Tip: make a small tear in the middle of the cable tie bag, not the end, still easy to access the ties, but they don't spill out the hole everytime you move the bag😉
That's bloody clever! Never thought of it
No such thing as a finished car when you have the passion you both have! Keep up the great work!
I know the first gen 89-92 Ford Probe had electronic adjustable suspension. I never really noticed it in my car but friends said it made a difference
Innuendo begins at 21:00
I just wanted to say you guys are legends. I listened to your music all day after my car got stolen yesterday. It has been recovered in the same day with minimal damage. But you guys got me threw it.
"Get out" mega lols!!! Marty you are the best. I am only surprised that it has taken you so long to tell him....
“I didn’t climb to the top of the food chain to eat a £***ing salad.” - R. White
he said carrots. not salad.
What I love about MCM they do everything the right way and they don’t take short cuts
MADD E30!!!! My first car was a 1986 E30 M3!!! Had no idea how rare it was at the time, 1996-97 had it for 2 years, it met its fate with a blown tire and a telephone pole at 100ish Mph (160 kmh respectively)
Japanese cars from the 90's also had electronic adjustable dampening. My Suzuki Baleno from 96 (Esteem for the USA market) had a system called SSCS, which is and does exactly the same as the Cusco system, but it only had a normal and a sport mode. Nice work by the way, love the show!
How much more disrespected can this car get
😂 Martins face when told he has to be vegan for a week 😂 😂 😂
The 1987 Skyline HR31 had 3 way adjustable from the cabin dampers. Also had an "Autospoiler" automatic chin spoiler. Very cool cars.
So glad to see the E30 announced a year after being teased in here!
Moog: plant based diet...
Marty: Get Out...
Hahahaha
I died laughing
Even i need a cigarette and a lie down after all that lol
My 1984 Nissan 300ZX Turbo had this from the factory! Granted, it only had 3 settings, but they really did work in a noticable way!
So you guys know. I like the long vids as I watch them over the week. Otherwise I have to WAIT for a week to get the fix.
You guys are awesome!
Do you think you'll do another electric car in the near-ish future?
prerunnerwannabe maybe they can mod a Tesla.
@@robertroth618 That would be sick. Or EV swapping a Subaru with a blown engine. So just a Subaru ;)
@@AppleGameification Oh, did they? Do you know what they said?

Looks like I'm up for another half an hour or so.......if it was a Honda, i would go to sleep, but its SUPERGRAMPS!! Different gravy my friends 😁😁
My 85 Toyota Cressida had adjustable dampening from the factory. It had a sport button that would stiffen the suspension. It still works which blows my mind.
Good job Marty and Moog Disrespected into Supergrams sounds amazing
i would have hooked up the wiring and module first and make sure that shit works
Marty: Toyota TEMS
Toyota had this as an option on almost everything through the mid 80's to late 90's. Even good old Starlets 😍
Starlet gt turbo ❤️
My first thought too.
came here to post the same thing. Late 1990s all sorts of Toyotas. At least MR2 and Supra?
Lol, HR31 skylines had electronically adjustable suspension back in the 80s.
I dont know how you guys keep straight faces when your doing the inuendo takes. Cracks me up every time without fail.
Great video can't wait to see the stereo install and sound test on this car keep up the good work from UK 🇬🇧🇬🇧
mid 80's 300zx had adjusters like that and supras
and soarer's
And Subarus
And mazda 626. JDM had this shit locked down in the 80s
25:19 LOL!!! WTF
asking the important questions.
Right? I had to rewind back and watch again. Poor brain wasn't able to process what just happened.
Comedy gold
I had a 85 Mazda 929 that had adjustable shocks from factory. Soft, Auto and Hard, was pretty cool to think they had these systems back in the 80's.
Nice addition guys, I had the Tein EDFC in my skyline years ago. Although the setup and motors are pretty much identical, I think I would prefer that than what I can see of this cusco one. The controller and the adjuster was all in one box and a little nicer to use. since I didn't smoke and nobody smoked in my car, I cut out the back of the ashtray and put it inside so you couldn't see it.
Spoiler alert: I died when Marty threw the manual
We all did
I was hoping it landed in a bonfire.
"oh do they?" and Martys face. Pure gold right there
all this hinting at the bmw manual makes you wonder if theyre buying a supra....
All this hinting at the BMW manual makes you wonder if they're buying a Mini. Or a Smart car. Or a Rolls Royce... I could do this all day. Lol

Mates, I’ve had a shit week. Been so much going on in my life that’s gone to shit. But this... this made me really happy. Always does! Super Gramps FTW!

Getting distracted by the bmwd-40 there, clearly....
My 1989 JDM Legacy GT has an electronic dampening adjustment from factory lol Hey Moog you'll notice a 1989 golf did not.
Great show lads.
Making the auto focus on your camera work overtime guys ! Marty is so excited, cool video as always.
The 1988 300zx turbo has electric dampener adjustment
fairly sure Mitsubishi gto did too
Yeah they both did they were really ahead of their time
Yeah, gto also had active areo and a few other toys too.
In before they realise the titles got a mistake
should read, ......the title has a mistake. Title can't be a possessive noun. FYI.
yeah TIEN has his as well call EDFC, there are several version to it which have some automatic adjust feature based on speed or what not.
Another good video guys. Keep up the good work!
Here we go E30
Everybody thinks they’re the first comment when who cares, I’m here to watch these two friends make cars awesome
Switchable electronic damping, it has been around for a while. Over in the UK, we had a raft of medium to high end JDM vehicles, that featured electronically adjustable damping. The T12 Nissan Bluebird Turbo ZX, for example, the Mitsubishi Sapporo Saloon and I think the Sigma, that followed. European marques, Opel/Vauxhall and high end, 24V versions of the Vauxhall/Opel Senator (similar in appearance to the VP Commodore), also came with an electronically adjustable damper setup...great video as always :).
Great to see you guys spitting out regular videos again! Can't wait for the next one
Null we do one just about every week for the whole year
@@mightycarmods Oh. Sometimes it feels like an eternity between videos haha.

*Is it supposed to be Disrespeted...?*
*What happened to the C??*
My 1986 GXL Rx7 had AAS (Auto Ajustable Suspension). Had normal and sport button in the center console. Cusco parts look awesome guys !
Late 80's and early 90's Ford Probe and Mazda MX6's came with a factory electronic dampening suspension. I have the Probe and it actually works really well for a car of its time.
330 BMW barra engine swap????
You guys should make Disrespected stickers lmao
A long long time ago I installed a Tein edfc system (same thing as this Cusco setup) on my Subaru. I had no idea what I was doing and I remember wishing there was an MCM episode to show me how it's done. Should've just waited 8 years lmao
The late 80’s corvette had adjustable shocks. Used Bilstien shocks with stepper motors on top, and was called FX3 suspension.
jdm sunscreen provided for those long walks after the engine blows up!!!
Knock, knock, knock, knock, knock,..........."oh I guess I got Lucky".......BANG!!!!!
Disrespeted yeah? Nice one boys 😂
Disrespected spelling of disrespected
Hearing y'all feed the wire through the fire wall is insane. If someone had their eyes closed while that was going on they would question what they were watching.
My '93 Pathfinder actually had a very basic version of this. Factory option, made by KYB. "Sport/Comfort" switch on the center console. They had a rotary solenoid sort of thing rather than a stepper, and a simple on/off valve in the shaft that bypassed the internal valving for Comfort mode. I did a teardown of one on my channel a while back when I replaced them.
The mitsubishi GTO had it pretty early
94 was the earliest we had it stateside I believe
My 90 rx7 had electric adjustable struts
The 90s 3000gt vr4/dodge stealth r/t/GTO's had electronic adjustable dampening
lovvvvvvving the title !! loving the return of the nose !!
1989 Toyota Crown is the earliest example of electronic adjustable dampening that i am aware of, it was fitted to the V8 Crown Royal Saloon as standard along with air suspension.
the controller looks really cheapy .. the suspension was nice tho .. think that the control was more a gimmic
Doesn't take much controller to run 4 motors.
When are we gonna get more mighty bike mods?
Mighty road train mods
@Ross Bourne imagine a Triple Turbo 4 Valve Tractor with Drag tires.
Hey guys I had a Daihatsu Rockey sports Afield that had 3 way adjustable shocks and it was 1990 model. And it worked as well not just a gimick. If you had it on firm on the highway it would bounce around all over the shop. But in soft on the highway it was mint. Thanks for the content and keep up the good work.
