Yup it was used a lot in their new album but it’s hard to explain with words. You have to turn the pick maybe 30 degrees away from you and use the very tip of the pick on the fretboard. It’s a lot of finger/wrist attack and having it at that angle and picking on the fretboard makes it a lot faster for some reason. It takes some messing with. First time I used it was covering Drone corpse aviator, didn’t even realize they used it in this song till I cornered it

The run at 3:20 looks incredible. The stamina required to get it sounding clean and precise has to be nuts. Great stuff!!

Not really no it's a guitar not weightlifting, try blue steels they shred your fingers then its easier
