I believe you because I'm also in Louisiana right across the Amite River from Baton Rouge. My cousins lived about a quarter of a mile walk through the woods from the river and one evening I was standing outside smoking and heard that same sound ! That's a great big HELL NAW !

Sitting on my back porch in tiller Oregon, I listened to this same noise for 20 to 30 minutes one afternoon. It was not an animal, it had a voice.

My Sighting was just south of Glennie, North of Hail just west of 65. Stay safe out there
a friend an I hear something very similar during a coyote hunt in 2006 north central Pennsylvania, we were hunting in a valley and whatever was making the noise sounded like a freight train heading straight towards us, needless to say we ran and left our gear behind, all except our rifles

I know it's scarry sounding but these creatures are not aggressive unless you invade their territory really. According to some they can even be friendly or helpful. The native tribes supposedly befriended and traded with them. I'd more wary of wolves, and dogmen personally

Iv heard this up in Ontario Canada. He must cross the border when it gets to hot down there. My dog got so scared she crawled under the bed. I put a 6 pack of beer on the picnic table for him as a gesture peace. In the morning there were 3 empty and the other 3 were gone. He left an empty pack of marabou smokes that's how I knew he came from the states

Video breakdown-
First howl was bigfoot, the 2nd scream was a hunter kneecapping his hunting buddy to make sure he could run faster than him. The branches breaking was the hunter without a broken kneecap beelining it for his pickup.
That puts it into perspective
It's that new senator from Pa. He's Sasquatch, was in Michigan.
That sounds legit...the recording a group of hunters made in the 70s had that type of whooping sound,and experts said the recording was real and the pitch and tones were way out of humans...
Computers and sophisticated programmes, both open source software and commercially available, can create and manipulate animal and human vocalizations and other natural sounds. Set up amplified outdoor concert speakers, and then you too can start fooling fools for fun and profit.

There isn't an animal alive no matter how elusive once their fabled existence is known of, (the mountain gorilla, and the giant squid at two examples), that Intrepid biologists have not been able to track down and study, at least to some degree in the field. The Sasquatch is the Holy Grail of all Cryptids which surely would put a field biologists/academics name in the history books. The incentive is HUGE! And, none definitive. Considering the number of sightings no matter what media it's recorded on they all seem to smack of hoaxes to me. Scientific study would be possible with such a creature as this. I've spent over a decade hiking _deep_ into the Cascades duing every season recreationally where I live and haven't seen hide nor hair, not one footprint or even one unexplainable happening - odd or strange, yes, but all rationally explained after researching myself or talking to other experieced woodsmen. Does this mean they don't exist? No. But I don't jump to a positive conclusion with only blurry pictures or recordings which can be easily faked. If a good photograph of one is actually taken, then you'll damn well know it.

I've heard that so close to me I could feel the vibrations. It was so dark I could not see my hand in front of my face and the instant insane fear I felt was unreal. Hubs and I were stuck on the road in the middle of Lake Crescent, WA. due to fallen trees at both ends. WE could see the lights of the workers/first responders.. miles in each direction. And we knew there was ZERO help. We got into our truck and just sat there... in total fear. I will never forget that sound.

I work with sound engineers. That would not be difficult at all for even a novice and free software.
Not saying it is fake, just that it would be easy to create an overlay and mix it. And getting easier all the time. Expect to see a rash of hoaxes, both audio and video over the next few years as AI tools improve. It's going to flat out suck.
