  • This video is based on multiple encounters that happened on a night in August of 2020, in the Washington Cascades. We heard a “whoop” vocalization right before a tree comes down. We believe that tree was pushed over. Later on, 35 minutes later, Kirk Brandenburg recorded a vocalization a half mile away, just outside of the camp. Hours later, after everyone was sleeping, Rebekah Slick witnessed something large walking right through our camp.

    The guy making the noise is EXACTLY what me & my friend heard camping in a forest in victoria Australia way back in 2001 ...I will NEVER for get it 3 times then a space another 3 times a space then another 3 times & every insect & frog& the booboo owl went silent it was 3am ...then crashing through the bush very loud like something huge ....we both said it sounded sad but irritated or frustrated ...just like your encounter mate.....never slept & next day felt we were being watched even though we were only ones there......so we packed up & off we went.

      I hunt black bear and elk in the forested mountains of Idaho and if you want to harvest one of these animals, you have to be where they are including sleeping where they are. I'm never scared but I have a healthy respect for them and their environment. Never have I seen nor heard a sasquatch but I know they're there as well.

      I know, its a tough subject to accept for a lot of people in our time.
      The history of these beings and so much MORE, go back to every culture, they teach us these are ALL myths and, to much imagination. They were not ALL wrong, there`s much writings about them, Minotaur, Saytor, Enkdu from Gilgamesh, the Lion-men in the Bible, India has a history of many more even more than Egypt or Greece, its all about DNA, so muh was done in the ancient of India, the genetics still come through to this day, its hard to comprehend looking at a ten foot being with a mans face!

I've heard lots of elk, deer, coyotes, some wolves and a few times some curious bears. Hmm. 🤔 I fly my dji Mavic 3 drone with thermal just to see if I'd get lucky and spot one - no luck. also, guess what, no darn ufo's or little aliens 🥴

      I live in near by Hessdalen, Norway. Ufo hotspot:) We see them maybe 2-3 times a year. Its crazy. Orbs chasing cars, huge `flood light` from some sort of portals that opens and close. Some years ago a huge perfect square piece of fauna (many tons) vanished hight up in the mountains. There a research station here catching them on radar. We have also our own `Roswell` incident. In 1947 a huge wite egg like object came roaring out from the sky towards the valley, seemingly with problems. The sound stopped and It flatten out just before hitting ground, going up and down through the valley and ended up `crashing` and sink in Djupsjøen (Deep lake). The egg from another world we call it. Theres a streaming service and a youtuber making an episode on the phenomena right now. They have found something on sonar now in Djupsjøen. Divers are about to go under the ice and check. its so fakking cool, I live 100 metres away from Djupsjøen 😃 if men in black is to appear, Ill kick em in the groin

    I've had three encounters in the cascades, spanning over a 25 year period, and one had supportive evidence. I understand the frustration, especially after finally having an encounter with a sasquatch of which only you will always be certain of. I've been a Sasquatch Investigator since 1976, or so, and have been primarily involved as a Hoax Detective (Hoax Buster) over the past 15 years. I will tell you that my experience indicates absolutely no reason to suggest anything hoaxed in this documentary. All things and situations described in this movie can be found in the Sasquatch historical record, and are all considered common elements of historical cases. I saw no indication of fraud by anyone interviewed, which for me is a first. For me, this is the first documentary that I have viewed (hundreds) that indicates 100% honesty throughout. Thank you for being the first, and I pray more will follow in your footprints, comparatively small as they may be.

      @@vikingmike1126 Okay Mike, I don't normally share that openly, but I'll try to sit down and put together all three, one at a time, next weekend. I don't like to leave any loose ends for further questioning so they might be too detailed, but I will do it for any serious investigator, especially those privileged to live in the PNW where the largest concentration of Sasquatch reside in the lower 48, second only to B.C., Canada. My encounters were all unexpected except, perhaps, the one at Skookum Meadow because I was not in two of the areas with thoughts about such a thing occurring. Skookum Meadow was the best of all three over a 25 year period. I'll probably post each separately. Thanks for the interest.

      @@douglastrapp8975 Thanks, look forward to it. I had a strange encounter in August 2019 in the mountains wayyyy north of Coquitlam, BC in a very remote valley. At the time I wasn't really seriously believing in BF, but I didn't disbelieve either. Now that I have researched more, I think I understand what was going on and would like to return. But I don't want to go alone. I need to network with other people who might be interested in going. I have joined the local BFRO expedition but I'm not sure how many people I will meet from there in the next few months. It is a gruelling 2+ day hike to get there, which may be why they decided to call that place home. I could be wrong of course and it was nothing, but it was pretty strange.

    • @douglastrapp8975
      @douglastrapp8975 4 місяці тому +1

      @mark2073 I've been in remote areas many times, sometimes flown in by helicopter in Alaska, and those areas are certainly worth the trip. I have also had with me "looky-loos" who did nothing but everything they should not have, and did nothing but disrupt the trip. Today I only go to areas where I am sure Sasquatch reside when I have very trusted and dedicated people with me ... never alone. I'm also getting too old to bushwhack my way through the woods without injury, so I prefer areas accessible by logging roads in the Gifford-Pinchot National Forest and within the Mt. Adams, Hood, and St Helens Triangle, which I believe has the largest concentration of Sasquatch residents (breeding zones) in the lower 48. Every encounter I have had (1980, 1991, 2006) were in that same describe habitat type. Indian Heaven Wilderness and the surrounding area in Skamania County are probably the best of all places to explore if one is looking for an encounter with a Sasquatch, where few if any other people will be present, based on my experience, although there are several additional areas in Oregon and Washington that meet the same criteria. Powerful handguns are suggested for protection against potential vagrant criminals, not necessarily wildlife.

      My Three Encounters with a Sasquatch
      I must begin by explaining that I had been familiar with Sasquatch through research for many years before my first possible encounter, of which all three of these should be categorized. I cannot present evidence that any of these were Sasquatch encounters, since I did not bring back the body, and was unable to cast the tracks in the third encounter due to the hard substrate. Most of my background before this was investigative, only witnessing week-old footprint lines or being allowed to study the Patterson film with Dan Perez and Rene Dahinden. Basically, I was part of a group who investigated Sasquatch reports including those listed in several books, seeking commonalities in these reports. I noticed that most of the reports with commonalities were located in wilderness areas ranging from Northern California to Southern and Central B.C., Canada, and I decided to move up to Washington and join other local researchers there shortly after the Mt St Helens blast of May 18th, 1980.
      My first encounter was during a backpacking trip I decided to take shortly after my discovery of Sasquatch tracks on the Stillaguamish river in Robe, Washington. Earlier I had joined a few locals from Granite Falls on a camping trip to Lake Kelcema on the Mountain Loop Highway and knew that remoteness was available there. Open arrival that day in October 1980 I gathered my gear and began the trek up the trail toward the lake where I would proceed further back than others on wildlife trails. The skies were cloudy, and it was drizzling, but I didn’t think much about that. I made a camp among some old growth timber, far away from any campers who usually stayed near the lake, and as the sun began to drop, the rain did too. Soon it was raining hard, so I dug a trench around my tent before the sun went down. At this point I had nothing to do other than sip some brandy, read a book, and listen to music on my portable cassette player. I had my lantern inside the tent with me, even though that is not advisable, and the rain poured down. At around midnight I heard something outside of my tent. It was a slushy sound at first, then becoming obvious to be bipedal steps in the water-soaked substrate sounding me. Outside was complete total darkness, so my tent probably looked like a beacon in the woods. I immediately assumed it was a person and screamed out “Better Get The Fuck Out Of Here Or You Will Die, Son-Of-A-Bitch!!!” as I grabbed my hunting knife preparing for battle. Quickly the steps walked (slushed) off away from my camp. I stayed awake for a few more hours before feeling safe again, and the next morning I ventured out after the rain subsided but didn’t find any footprints. I didn’t think I would, due to the spongy substrate, but I tried. I pondered the situation for some time after that. Why would a person walk up to a tent at midnight during a heavy rainstorm in a remote off-trail forest, far away from others? Also, that would be a difficult task in such conditions, so why did I not hear the hard breathing of exhaustion? Today I believe this was a Sasquatch, curious of my tent, content in it’s environment, loving every minute of the darkness and heavy rain, but soon to learn it was not a safe place to be curious.

      My concern about this story is when people encounter a BF speak about a horrible smell from the creatures, I have never encountered a BF but have smelled Elk that came within 20 yards.

    • @sashabenoit1518
      @sashabenoit1518 6 місяців тому +1

      @@mikebarrager8293 Well, there are plenty of explanations for that...
      One being, there are plenty of accounts of people that have had encounters with them that reported no smell at all. Even from accounts of up close encounters or direct sightings. Another possibility is that the wind is blowing in the opposite direction away from the person or that the conditions (weather, time of year, temperature, humidity level, air quality, ect..) at that time are helping mask the scent more or aren't conducive to enhancing it for it to be picked up from a distance. The other thing to take into consideration is, not everyone has the same level of ability to smell things. Some people are more sensitive to scents than others and some could literally be sprayed in the face by a skunk and barely smell a thing. And speaking of skunks, there's a reason why one of the nicknames for Sasquatch are "Skunk Ape" and "Stink Ape. There's a theory that Sasquatch has a stink gland and can use it, at will, as a defense mechanism or deterrent, similar to that of a skunk. Which could explain why not everyone has a smell associated with an encounter. It could also be that there are different subspecies of Sasquatch and some of them evolved and developed a stink gland and some didn't. My point is, there are many rational reasons to explain this, so I wouldn't count anything out based off of that.

      @salishsasquatch8373 I'm trying to remember more exact directions. I'm pretty sure that it's the main road turn off before getting to the mostly dirt FS road that goes to the horse camps. Lake 22, Spider Meadows, Phelps Basin Trails are all on that same road. Chiwawa is the name of the camp or the creek. It was late September. I slept in a tent on the ground. I remember laying in the sleeping bag, wondering what that noise, and those vibrations, was and then deciding in must be elk jumping over logs in the surrounding forest, lol. Maybe the rut, or something. Sometimes, it sounded like hooves on wood. I asked some of the others in our group camp; one answered in a weird kind of a way. Something about that wasn't elk jumping... He had alot of experience camping and hiking in the Cascades.

    1983 I was stationed at Ft lewis army base in Washington, state, I was doing night navigation training, one night, it was probably about 0200 hours after myself and another GI completed our compass course a soldier in my Platoon told me he had seen a huge man like figure walking about 30 feet from him in a clearing in the moon lite, the man was vary shook up, I was in the army with this man for many years and don't feel he was lying, ft lewis army base is huge and has dense woods and civilians are not allowed on the base, I was told many years later by another army veteran that the army knows about ape like creatures living in the remote places of ft lewis.

    I have a funny speculation - would've it isn't intentionally pushing over trees. Instead would've it's climbed up a tree not realizing it's not longer a juvenile, with it's additional weight as a fully grown sasquatch ends up riding a tree down. All on the account of climbing up a tree just to try getting a better bird's eye view of the campers. Hey no one really knows, right? It's all speculation.
    That was incredible the last encounter. Wonder what it was thinking as it stomped around, or was that just it weight that made it sound like it was stomping around the campsite. The quietness between the vocalizations would've drove me nuts too.

    Nice film, thanks for sharing the experiences! I'm glad someone had an audio recorder running and we got to hear at least some of the vocalizations and the tree downing.
    That brings up a serious question for all researchers: since so much of what is reported in this field is vocalizations and noises in the woods, why don't researchers set up audio recorders any time they go into the woods? I did paranormal investigations a number of years ago, and one of the things that quickly became evident was that you couldn't predict when something would happen, and it was best to have something recording continuously rather than try to only record when you thought something was going to happen; the only recordings I EVER got happened when I wasn't expecting it.
    Even back then (8-10 years ago) there were small digital audio recorders that would record high-quality sound for over 15 hours at a time, and much longer if you knocked the sound quality down somewhat - I couldn't tell the difference, but I'm sure someone with great hearing or instruments might be able to tell the difference. Those recorders cost

Crazy long roaring yell one time it would yell and coyotes went crazy over ,, twice its happened ...Tree knocks that mocked my three knocks bringing it closer to us.. I seen trees rock back and forth being pushed over in front of us fishing at night.. I even was riding a horse when I was 12 and heard a huge limb snap we stopped along a timber line ..And I was tryin to see what it was looking in the woods.. Then the horses ears was moving crazy and the horse started bucking me scared.. I was holding on for dear life..I was thinking whatever it was was coming up behind us ..I thought I was going to get bucked off and whatever it was was gonna get me ..Or get kicked in the head by the horse.. And I rode this horse buttercup a thousand times not a prob until that day..Lucky the horse took off running it like read my mind to get us outta there... By Baylis and Beverly Illinois..All things has happened in Illinois Missouri that I had experienced.. We saw several footprints by the Mississippi river and no way people and a kid wouldve been walkin barefooted in this funky water and the ground was nasty.. The foot primts was like three different sizes and wider than normal feet even the kids foot one.. If it wasn't for the things I've seen and heard I wouldn't believe in it.. Had a tree get pushed over on us while fishing on a bass oat at laurel lake in Kentucky. It hit so hard we jumped up off the deck of the boat.

    Well done! No unnecessary gimmicks or overexcited people. Just factual, calm and matter of fact. BTW, is it just me or does it look like a bigfoot is standing there and watching you all between 23:53-23:59? That big shadow/shape between the trees.

    I have a friend who is a collector of toenails from unknown primate cryptids. His collection contains a number that exhibit an awful stench from the toe-jam always found under the nail, his theory being that the pervasive odor is used to attract a mate in the same way that human females wearing a pantsuit do.

    12:10 Those vocalisations are very intriguingly. No animal we know make those sounds. From that high pitch to low:/ Some boys before puberty could make something like this, choirboys, but not likely out in the dark wilderness. There is a low pitch sound just before the `haa-yyyy` This and the Sierra mountain recordings from the 70s is the coolest thing ive heard. Damn
