Bristol City v Carlisle Utd Football League Trophy Final 2003

Bristol City travel to the Millennium Stadium for the final of the Football League Trophy, beating Carlisle to win their only trophy under manager Danny Wilson. Liam Rosenior comes off the bench to make the difference for City.

As a city supporter much as I have enjoyed our 3 wins in this competition I hope we are never in it ever again as it would mean we are never relegated from the Championship and hopefully go in the opposite direction, it's been far too long.

Agreed, we've been there done that now. Getting to the next level is a tall order for us at the moment though in a very competitive league.
