- Hey guys! HyRoolLegend coming at you guys with another video of Cookie Run Kingdom. Sea Fairy Cookie has received the "BUFF" that we all have been waiting for. However, this new Crystal Jam does not seem like it is going to be helping Sea Fairy much in the current arena at a lower level....I am going to share the testing of Lv5 & Lv10 Crystal Jam in this video and what my initial thoughts are on Jam for her! Yay but I feel like i will still do her crystal jam since she's like my fav 😭 so is it ok if I use her for world exploration and stuff ?
i can make a cookie lvl 70 with lvl 70 poiton who should i use it on?
Naah I think SF will be good in upcoming updates maybe new cookies would help her... Especially her skill increase water damage.. maybe next cookie and candy for sorbet
sea flop can't escape the floptropica 🤩😝, she really needed that skill cd buff and her main skill damage buff
honestly feel like she does need that CD buff
@@HyRoolLegend yeah, it's so hard to find a topping with high damage resist and high cd reduction at the same time 🥲 and the new toppings gave me a trash sub stats 😒 (all debuff resists, atk, and atk spd)
still hoping that ascencion buffs can give her justice 🙂
I think she might be like shining glitter where future cookies will slingshot her into being meta

They literally copy pasted the skill of Pitaya, made it worse and put it on a magic candy.
Like you said, it would've been easier if they just overhauled her skill.
But they put it in a magic candy-esque feature for the purposes of making money, but it isn't even good enough to spend money on.

I was really hoping sea fairy’s buff would improve her damage and her overall because after watching your live it shows how it’s super hard to upgrade crystal jams (materials and success rate) and how unless you spend a lot of money she doesn’t change much and still isn’t up to par with some other legendaries
i think sea is in the situation just like glitter cookie. In the first phase, the cookie seems to be not good enough to play in the arena, but in the second phase, new cookie will help fix the case.
i hope thats the case i actually built her for this update

also like tarte tatin when everyone called her trash but she turned out to be very very useful against bosses in different modes and in cookie alliance
we'll see about that. IMO, i'm not fond of cookie-gets-stronger-with-a-specific-cookie type of thing since it makes her niche + she depends on another to work especially on a legendary rarity.
i think the big problem is that they didn't buff her base skill all that much. so while the enhanced skill is pretty good... the basic skill still sucks. and since you have to use the basic skill... well you can see the problem. however that rally effect is very good and with the addition of more water cookies it'll probably get more useful--especially if captain caviar or sorbet get a candy.
Caviar is still used in the arena and sorbet will likely get a mc next update (like all other old cookies who have been put in hall of encounter), so I definitely think the rally effect is gonna be busted in the second season of this arena phase.

I think Sea Fairy's Crystal Jam will make her a bit like Black Lemonade but more on the aoe side. If used with the right cookies, (Peppermint, Black Pearl, etc.) She could be a game changer.

I was really hoping for a sea fairy buff, but devsis did dirty on her 😂
Shes not bad, its just that we were expecting more. And i do think she will find success especially since that lvl 30 jam sounds extremely busted. But we are still barely 24 hours into the update. Maybe more testing will show if she can be used in arena. Perhaps using a full dmg resist build could work. But i have no doubt that lvl 30 jam is extremely good, and might work well with shinning glitter to get rid of snapdragons shields
yes its just that lv30 will take a VERY LONG TIME or a lot of money for all the players which kinda sucks since usually a magic candy helps the cookie out starting at least lv10 which in this case, not too much
@@HyRoolLegendYea thats part of the problem, level 30 is gonna take a lot of time and literally just on level 4 of the trials its absolutely DIFFICULT even with max ascension cookies

@@travioliraviolicanoli I got to lv7 (so basically the max until the attempts refresh) without max ascension. What are you using? Caviar might work well, since he's also water type, and is already pretty powerful even without the rally effect. Also I think the trials expect you to upgrade sf's crystal jam as you go further, so make sure you do that.
They did sf so dirty 😭 i was really expecting a cd buff to her, if that was added i think she would be good, HOWEVER, i think we should wait for some time since the update just released a few hours ago and hopefully figure out the meta
The legendary skins not having their skins in the animations is pretty disappointing. And they didn’t add new effects for their crystal jam skills for the old legendary skins which is really disappointing
hoping she will be like Shining Glitter, disappointing at first but is actually good with the right team/cookies
may be possible with the other water cookies coming out later as well

I feel like the should have made it to where Sea fairy has a chance to bypass stun immunity and if she does the stun will not be as long. Poor Sea fairy is getting the Wild Berry and Milk treatment.
At least Wildberry was still recent meta when his MC released. Sea Fairy has been low tier for over a year now.
I feel like should would have a one shot comp arena team with squid ink and captain caviar. Especially with level 20 we’re she does more damage to sun immune targets.
one shot was shared in the video and seems like the one comp so far that she does fit well with
i feel like it’s just because of how advanced and diverse the newer cookies skills are that hers is just very basic and falls short despite being a legendary. instead of basically just making her a magic candy they could’ve found a way to make her basic skill do more so that she actually stands a chance against all the cookies instead of just old ones.
tbh it would be have cool if sea fairy had some insane synergy with moonlight
It’s honestly disappointing, SF buff ins’t bad but despite the resources that’ll cost u to lvl her crystal jam to reach her high potential is a lot and that could honestly take awhile to find which comp SF would fit in.
Overall I think SF buff is long term progression if u do want invest in her but for me it’s not my forte as a f2p player especially that I would have to use my legendary essence.

still noticed that even with full solid almond, she kept getting sign of the stars and that hinders her damage
but how comps are and the fact that she's a bomber (meaning naturally higher damage) its hard to pinpoint where she belongs
I fear the day when ML's Crystal Jam will be released, especially if her attack includes injury like the Beckoning of Dreams debuff. She'd be super OP af 😭😭😭
Definitely feels like shes meant to support some cookie that doesnt exist yet. I really dont like when they do this and I wish they would first introduce the dps and after the cookie that supports that dps.
Honestly, I wished they held back from releasing Sea Farty’s Crystal Jam. They should’ve experimented first with Bp and then see how well it does before releasing a second one. Wish they made it like how they made fq crystal jam. Devsisters, plz buff sea fairy again. Even just reducing her cd can help out a bit (but she does need more of a buff that this).
What i suggest is reworking her basic skill just a bit
1) increase damage towards units immune to stun, and increase stun duration too
2) make her dodge skills while using hers, like moonlight or other meta cookies do
If they don't reduce her CD, they should do everything u r mentioning
i hope that sea fairy actually will have some more potential in a future update just like with shining glitter when everyone thought her skill was underwhelming but it actually found some use (even in the arena)
although for now it doesn’t seem to be the best buff in my opinion for lower levels
i really hoping that's sf skill should be upgrade again and make her cooldown reduce.
I think Sea Fairy cookie will be meta again once Almond cookie gets his magic candy 🤔
I remember when Sea Fairy used to be meta and high tier now shes still lower tier and is outshined by others. Please Devsis, save this eonderful cookie!
Kind of saw this coming. SF's base cooldown is still long, and all the damage in the world won't help when all the meta Cookies can just dodge with intangibility

Ive waited for months for that sea fairy buff and this is what we got…..
honestly they should've made her skill do bonus damage towards enemy who are stun immuned or resisted to stun. Because honestly stun are no longer a major issue in the arena ever since like.....wayyyy back then
dude tysm i had no idea you could turn the animation off i thought i ruined my chars because i used the crystals and the animation always made me crash tysm💚💚💚
Honestly i have mixed feelings. But im still trying to find a team. So far a team ive got is:
Hollyberry: 5 solid almond focusing cd and dmg resist
Black Pearl: 4 swift chocolate 1 juicy apple jelly, focusing cd and damage resist and a little extra crit
Sea fairy: 5 searing raspberry focusing dmg resist and cooldown
Parfait: 5 swift chocolate focusing dmg resist and cd at least 20%
Peppermint: 2 solid almond 3 swift chocolate focusing damage resist and cooldown
Sea fairy will be the leader for the extra water type dmg bonus
thought it was worth the wait..... BUT IT WAS NOT ENOUGH what we were hoped for
I feel like shes def more of a sub dps than a main one
oh for sure as of right now
Buffs I wish sea fairy had:
Had a small chance to cancel a cookie skill and cant dodge
Bigger attack buff
Give some debuffs on enemies
Tidal wave attack buff
More resistant
Devsis is just making her dirty like a polluted sea
She doesn't need jams to be workable they just need to adjust/rework/balance her out, like they used before like hb and werewolf.
There's no need for jams or candies (also including wildberry) for them to work better. Waste of effort if they trying to do this and the fact that they did this to the legendaries ( jams things) they would probably explore more with other legendaries, which is too much.
Kinda sad she no longer a nuker she suppose to be a bomber not a rally support ik when new cookie come out she will have her own niche comp
Meanwhile bp rally effect is insanely good
I think they did a terrible mistake by giving her the jam without giving her any solid buff.
While I like the idea of leader effect, allowing you to chose one legendary to give everyone powerful buff, something like this bases heavily on the idea that all legendaries are on the same level in terms of power and usefulness.
Sea fairy is terribly outdated, and not just her skill but also her stats, she is too frail when compared to so many DPS that have ability to dodge or heal themselves. Stun is resisted everywhere, so this is also a thing.
Lets say in theory that Sea fairy jam let her give bonus damage to water, Frost Queen jam give bonus damage to ice, and Pure Vanila would buff light DPS.
This means that if in the future you will get some good water-based cookies, you will be unable to make water-team because Sea Fairy is so weak and frail. It doom water comp from the start.
Even if you get very good water cookies, they will not be used, because other comps will be far better due to leaders being way stronger.
If they want to go this direction, they need to make all leaders as close in terms of power and usefulness as possible. They can no longer go current direction where each new introduced cookie/legendary is far stronger than the previous one.
Devsis really has A LOT of beef with Sea Farty 💀

well she is a lot better than before, and i think she also received some hp and attack buff, as well as the resistance to inrrerupting effects for her skill, i had seen that she had a higher power after the update than before, without the crystal jam, at least for me... my sf had 360k power before the update and after the update she had 400k, i didnt made any changes before the update
well power always increases when you deal more damage (it is based on the percentage) which is why it honestly doesn't really matter. You aren't wrong that she is better than before but she isn't that good with the lower level jam for what it cost to make it so far
She needed a passive that either negates or completely ignores debuff resist/stun immune for it to be decent, cause rn her counters and weaknesses are the same as pre update
as a sea fairy fan, im so dissapointed...i hope Devsisters give her a buff in a close future....

Guys atleast she has a lot more control on the battle field
only the future water dmg team can carry her (hopefully) so i do hope the future chars from the leaks are good
to be honest, due to her lore, i do love this jam of her. Still believe that she is super good or maybe core-pick for water team (for her leader skill which is increasing water damage around 30% that is super huge @.@). Don't forget this is just the first part of this ocean update, we still have a lot of water-type cookies in the future
I feel that devsisters wanted to make Sea fairy in a way like Shining Glitter as in a way she is in a team that contributes to her buff like peppermint and squid ink.

I’ve tried both crystal gem for still farty (sea fairy) and black pearl, I feel like sea farty is very weird I don’t feel like she doing much damage and the stun takes a while to go in even after the wave thing for some reason. Black pearl tho I feel like she’s doing pretty good for me in kingdom arena and the bypass dmg resist thing help with the whole team damage too
damn bro we gon need her to gain the power of the fucking moon for her to even be decent-
it’s sad to see how far sea fairy has fallen from grace. not to say i miss the old days when she was a win condition but she’s still not even competitive

Hyrool quick question do you have to wait the five days to get all your battles in trial grounds or you dont get anymore battles?
the trials refresh every single week (tuesday based on KST time) you will get back 7 tries (for no-pass players) and 10 tries (for pass players)
I dont thinks she's that bad, I just expected more from her. overall I think she's fine could use more buffs in the future update 😐
well I think that the fact that she can use the buff in the future, means that she is bad in the standards of legendary now with a crystal jam as well...
Ehh they just gave her like raw damage kit but can't deal much . They should atleast have give some unique kit or something but it seems she can be good with other water element cookies and might become gd like shinning glitter
Honestly though she just meh. I mean she is stronger now but not much for a f2p i think the moment you make her cj to lvl 30 there just be a lot of more cj or legenddary or even ancient or dragon more worth to build. Even now in the arena or pve nobody use her much cause we have many better option. We will have to wait for devs anyway, hope they rework her skill like what they did to pure and holly

Have you tried using 3 searing raspberry & 2 solid almond. Or try using the resonated toppings, that helps too with Sea Fairy Cookie's survivability
I have tried the mixed build and also full almond. Helped in surviving but damage was still pretty low

pretty disappointed despite the jam costs a lot and will take years to +30 for f2p and it barely does anything in low level, compare to magic candy which is a lot easier to get

i use her with a oneshot comp and god does she shred. because of he plus 40% water damage boost, captain caviar as well as squib do more damage as well lol
yup right now the one shot comp with her is one of the solid team she has (but it can be countered pretty easily right now with parfait and such)

Sea fairy's Tidal wave skill reminds me of Nahobino's Thalassic Calamity skill from SMT V
bruh it's a water pitaya. 0 creativity from devsisters. they could have made a drown stacking debuff (possibily insta kill after max stack), area effect (environment change to water, all enemies perma slow, allies buff), 5-7 seconds stun, skill refresh like the recent cannon cookie, team cleanse to debuffs since it's water lmao, or made her use her sword having several water waves with a few sword flicks, water prison, etc. the potential is limitless and yet this is what we got lmao overhyped, money milker gacha. losing my love for this game

Dammit, the update happened at work so being in a hurry, I invested in her first. Guess with the trial thing reset with more attempt, I will switch to Black Pearl instead!
I think her rally effect is very use ful and can be combined with captain caviar sorbet squid ink and pepermint

When i saw the trailer she looks so op but now i change my mind she still kinda needs a dammage buff bc shes only good when you hit like 20 or 30 maybe 10
They really need to give her A 14 second cd xause her skill takes to long to caste and her stun is just not it imo Theres snap dragon bts Parfait that can just negate the stun.. especially when theres Sleep Water cage and silence which are much better debuffs than stun , Imo give her Less cd , Dmg resist after skill , Her normal skill should also cancel sheilds cause thats one weakness to her i noticed, And lastly just give her a normal skill buff Or just rework her as a whole
Sea Fairy could've easily been better if her skill dealt increased damage to enemies immune to stun to help deal with the snapdragon pvp meta (and bosses in pve). Missed opportunity.
I guess we are waiting for new cookies with different synergies like sorbet magic candy or another tank to protect her except hollyberry (someone like financier)
