Found a 93-sport combi 2011, first owner passed away, and I become the 2nd one, the car is like new, all service done by the book.
After 3 days, I went to a Boost company, and got 50 more horse power, and after that I went to a Car rust protector, ( the only one in Sweden), he sandblaster the car underneath, and painted the car with 2 component Zinkpaint, before he added the black stuff for additional rust protection, wax and oil inside all the constructions.
When the exhaust is giving up, I will change to a sport exhaust, with a sport cat, and a new air filter, and do the step 2 tuning, to get another easy 50 horsepower, Its already a rocket on the road, and its so god dammed compfortable, and funny to drive, I really love the Saab.
This 9000 turbo hatchback, is also my dream car, its so beautiful and clean in the lines, but today its almost impossible to find one.

2 years ago I got my 1st Saab. A 1993 9000 cse high pressure turbo 5 speed... The boost valve quit. So I did a stage 1 ecu swap and valve swap from a 9-5 and RIPS when it get in the turbo! Thanks from New England for the video. Keeps those 9000s alive!

Love to see Saab 9000s. Reminds me of the 2 that my dad had. Fantastic cars - fast and so comfortable. Hope you get this one back on the road soon.
I own a 9000 CD 2.3 with no turbo, it is really fast already, I can't imagine how much more power the Aero has. I fell in love because of its balance of comfort and sportiness, you can't find this type of car anymore, I've borrowed many people car and none impressed me as much as the 9000. I thought I would just had it for a year before selling, I changed my mind, keeping it indefinitely.
They are great cars. And... If you ever really wanted to you could fit the turbo engine and management to your current 9000 😁 My '87 900 was originally a non turbo but not anymore!

It's been in daily use for the last month, brilliant car
i loved our 2007 aero BUT dont think it,s a particulary tough engine when tuned ,,a FRESH engine might last in low 300s but typical mileage cars just dont
9-5 Aero? They have a B235 which is slightly weaker than the B2*4 series engines. But I'll be honest I've killed plenty of B2*4 engines at not very impressive levels of power 🤦😩. I'm now fitting the balance shaft delete kit to every one of my fleet and fitting dependable oil pressure gauges.
@@LivingMyBoostLife I think by the end the 95 and it's engine and drivetrain were showing its age ,,I loved it's size and comfort but legged behind a similar Beemer or audi of the time ,,not much different to our own Rover cars really

Wish I had half your skills. I have my old 9000 sitting forlornly on the drive where it’s been for the last 5 years. Only came off the road as I had 4 other cars at the time. Now it needs lots of little things and it’s beyond my time and capabilities :(. They are fab cars though, but sitting doing nothing kills cars…
Thanks for your praise Martin. I know all too well what you mean about vehicles sitting. I sold my motorbike today because I let it sit and it just needed more and more work every time I got around to looking at it. I prefer 4 wheels so decided to cut my losses and sold it as a non runner, that hurt 😩
@@LivingMyBoostLife it may come to that with the 9000 - death by 1000 cuts. IMHO it’s too good to scrap and I’d love to see it on the road again but it needs an enthusiast. Meanwhile I have a c900 and 2 other cars all clamouring for time & money! :D
