Whats the actual aspect ratio on this film? The DVD/ Blu ray is 1:85.1 but here it's to 2:39.1. Which one is cropped?

Not normally a fan of pretentious guff but Wong Kar Wai has a great side-line in it. This film is captivating from the opening minute, though I have to say, I prefer the original over the redux.
Too bad original is lost
This looks like a cologne commercial. "Chinese Five Spice - Pour Hommes"
Marketing industry was always keen to take all they could from the directors with a well developed style. Look at Scorsese or Wes Anderson.
