I'd pay money to see a Paul White do the kip-up.
ua-cam.com/video/J0j3vrnq2EQ/v-deo.html
There should definitely be a video of it on UA-cam, but he was heavily assisted by the ropes.
Go watch his wcw stuff when he was with the nwo then
@@ghosthabanero9229 I watched religiously and never missed a single show for over 3 years, but I don't recall ever seeing Paul do a kip-up.
If you have a link to it I'd appreciate if you could post it. I'd love to see it.

I remember his WCW days. He was super athletic. That missile dropkick to Lochness was perfect
Wtf is lochness. I actually live beside loch ness
@@woody816 He was formerly Giant Haystacks. Dude weighed a legit 600 lbs in his later career. The match with Big Show was actually his last match and he passed away a couple years later.
@@woody816 have you ever seen Nessie? Or do you think that’s a myth
The thing I remember the most from his wcw days is how he took that Goldberg jackhammer and was up there looking like gymnast or something...that was pretty incredible
@@copekillzz very underrated athlete.
Prime Big Show was truly a rare type of giant.
he still one of the goats cant deny that
Remember when Goldberg did his finish on show how he held him the air did a 360 and slammed him… Yeah I’ll never forget that watching it live
@@qlxudiI can’t believe they still have him performing in aew with the condition his knees are in
@@sergmurkin6551look at the way he gets off the ground, he pushes himself up with his knee. Seeing that in the past would have given red flags that his knees were gonna be terrible
@@sergmurkin6551he’s not performing
The Big show jumping off the top rope looks like a 5-year-old that just said Mommy watch this😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
After Sid snapped his leg, all that pretty much stopped
Stopped way before that. Side jumping off the turnbuckle was the first and last time he ever did that in his career
And Brock’s moonsault botch where he almost broke his neck against Kurt Angle at Wrestlemania
@@ultraloyalservant2felineov41even that moonsauly had to get the go ahead from the company, it was a special spot angle kinda wanted him to do and Brock said he could but wwe was kinda fighting them up until the botch and they were surprisingly correct
@@david-468 it’s because in his OVW days he was regularly doing a shooting star press. Of course he told them he could do it. The botch obviously wasn’t how Lesnar wanted it to go
@Ultra loyal servant 2 feline overloads, Catman. I remember that, shooting star press just landed short mans lucky he didnt end up crippling himself and lucky he had someone like kurt in there who realised he's ko himself and to help him through the rest of that match
Probably saved him some years for stopping that.
Someone should stop his lying. No way he ever did a moonsault. If he could do one and any knew they'd have him use it on a big pay per view or a big time angle. I don't believe it. Look at those missile dropkicks off the top rope. He barely pulls them off. It doesn't seem like he could get the air necessary to do a moonsault.
Wrestlers exaggerate, to put it mildy. Marks believe them. And who said kayfabe was gone?
And some being landed on if there was a mistake a 500lb potential mistake lol
While it would've been very fun to see Paul throwing himself off the top rope, I'm kinda glad he didn't because his style definitely contributed to prolonging his career and keeping his body protected
Yeah but now hes known as the big skow
The Shaq of WWE.
Bruh....Show doing a missile dropkick from the top rope is INSANE. You couldn't even have Big Show do that in the WWE2K games. Its to far fetched for video games
The big show he was the truth with the showstopper
Whoever stopped him was just trying to ensure he didn’t end up with an early career ending injury
Truly a man before his time.
Andre was indeed mobile at his height. But i think Show is the most skilled giant we've ever seen.
Andre also did dropkicks when he was younger.
@@keithwiggins3131really
This man was a great athlete.
I'm glad wwe knew they had to be firm with him on this. "Don't kill yourself doing this or we'll fire you before you can"
Not WWE, Hogan told him to work like a giant when he was in WCW.
WWE ruined him he was 450 in shape they wanted him to be bigger and be 500 and that caused his weight to go out of control and him to become unhealthy.
I remember a match shown Saturday morning from WcW reactor 96-97. Of the giant doing a missile drop kick. It was absolutely insane. I lost it just seeing him gracefully climb the ropes. dude looked like a cruzer weight doing it.
Can you imagine how short his career could have been if he wasn't stopped
Vince: hey Show go fall off the cell for Mania 💀
Not necessarily, look at RVD
@@vixthunderboy6481rvd is a feather compared to him. His body would break way faster
The man fell off the roof of the joe Lewis arena only to later on in the same night wrestle in the main event and win the title.

I always cite those Big Show and Braun matches as awesome glimpses of those guys wrestling in the style of 2 average size guys as opposed to giants. It really allowed them to disply their athleticism
Prime Big Show was the ideal body. Fast, athletic, strong and with the long hair he looked like a God
I didn't know he did a top rope dropkick holy cow did he have some amazing agility back in the day
He hit the mat like a ton of shyte...lol..😅😂🎉😮
Paul wight is totally the world largest athlete and a talented giant
Never see a more talented giant than him. He was the man when he was in shape. Could do 10 reps with 500 on the bench and could high fly.
He was specifically told by Hulk Hogan if I recall correctly from other interviews he’s discussed this in.
During Ruthless Aggression, I remember a match between him and Kane, and I was very, very impressed. They actually did some catch-us-catch-can, and that debunked the "big men don't wrestle" trope. Paul Wight is an absolute legend.
Should have seen him in war games WCW back in the day he was pretty damn athletic for a guy his size.
Big show hitting anything from the top would be something i would love to see
HO-LY SHIIIT! Flying Big Show would've been terrifying!
Everyone out the pool
Watching a man that size doing kick ups from his back, and moonsaults from the top turnbuckle was a very amazing site. It was short lived, and extremely rare, and i feel lucky for being around when he was doing it in real time. Highlight reels are great for preserving memories, but seeing it live is forever burned into my brain!
My first ever WCW show in Charleston WV the giant was there he done the missile dropkick and kip up was a sight to see he was an animal then
Khali had an athletic period too, before his condition really started to kick in.
That first dropkick gave me flashbacks of Sid
When I was a kid we had front row. There were no barricades, just a normal fence that could be easily moved is all that stood between our legs and all 450+lbs of Big Show... he was thrown against it and the fence literally crushed our little legs with his full weight. He didn't break kayfabe, acting injured while still leaning his full weight against it and my 11 year old self shouted, "you're crushing my fucking leg, get off!". I saw Big open his eyes and looked at us, evaluated the situation and rolled off the fence promptly. Solid guy. Our legs were bruised for over a week.
Viscera was quick for his size
He had mad height on those drop kicks when he was The Giant in WCW. From the ground he'd kick em right in the chest.
I remember Paul doing a moonsault. It used to be on UA-cam ages ago, i think. But then i tried looking for it and couldn't find it. I swear i thought i was having a Mandela effect with how empty the searches came up. But i KNOW i remember that. And finally this confirms it. After all these year's. I felt like the only one who remembered that. Although i don't remember exactly what company he pulled that off in. He says it wasn't in a match. But i clearly remember him doing it. Idk.
The other impossible to find video is of Kevin Nash literally dead lifting a guy from the mat straight up for a clean chokeslam in one match. That too was around on UA-cam, until it was lost or taken out. The guy taking the move sand bagged it. So Kevin had to use pure raw strength. It was actually impressive. No momentum at all. Pure power.
Andre did too when he was younger
Go watch khali in his younger years in japan.
He was so good as well.
I would LOVED to have seen Show with a strength coach train for and do the Atlas Stones at the WSM competition. I bet he could have set records that stand to this day. He is the strongest man to ever enter the ring, by FAR.
Bam Bam will always be the best high flying big man.
captain insano shows no mercy
You are a legend and you are one of the greatest.
You know how many years that top rope drop kick took off show’s wrestling years.
Jeezzeeeee my guy was with it.
him doing any of that like lesner vader kane ect are in a class of there own FREAKS
Big show you're was one of my favorite wwe stars
Prime Giant..was crazy
Now imagine him doing a shooting star press
"If you want to stay here, BE LESS ENTERTAINING!!!"
I remember he use to tak out everybody with the chokeslam
They Told Him Right ✅️
I still remember seeing him do his elbow drop on Mark Henry and Braun Strowman. Homie could move
Big show is like a cruiserweight version of a giant 😮
Nah I wouldn't be taking that big show moonsault. He'd crush you 😂
Just because he could doesn’t mean he should of. Nowadays he looks like just standing is painful :(
No wonder big show nor the giant never got over.
And they were right to tell him to knock it off. He’s a giant. That’s the attraction and that’s good enough. Work like a giant. It also devalues what made the cruiserweights what they were on the WCW cards by doing their moves.
I remember in the late 90s attitude era, he could flip back onto his feet while laying down.
People forget that this dude played D1 college basketball. He’s a legit athlete.
yeah wen he was slim and in shape!! not wen he got fat
If this guy kept his Knockout Punch Weapons of Mass Destruction he would've single Handedly take out the Entire WWE Roster in one Swipe Plus his Old theme song is much better then Recent Versions
Love you Paul (Big Show)!
Big Show looks like Kratos from God of War Ragnarok
Andre used to do this too… back in his early days
Imagine big show do red arrow finisher (neville's finisher or pac in aew)?
Vince was like " dont ever do that ever again if you want to continue working here" or youuuuur firrreed!😂😂😂
Probably the best advice he ever got tho.
@@shroomgod1990 I liked the drop kicks , Vince is just a fucking retarded ass old man
That’s highly impressive I would pay to see him do a damn moonsault and have a poster of that 😂🔥
I’ll pay that same money to see Paul White do that moonsault
RIGHT?! Like I'm glad he didn't make a career of it or he'd probably be in a wheelchair by now but man, to see that just once would be incredible!
I don’t blame them for stopping him
Man was pushing 430-500+ pounds imagine all that weight landing on a guy weighing like 200 pounds.
And all that impact on his body career would’ve probably only lasted 5 years maybe 10
he would be stupid to want to continue the move after he got fat n out of shape
Can't blame em for telling him not to do stuff like that we saw what happened to Sid with the leg thing
I've seen him do kip ups, but the jaw dropper was watching him hop over the top rope to get into the ring
Big show a legend
Dude destroyed one of his knees wrestling like a statue the majority of his career. I can’t imagine the condition his body would be in if he continued wresting like that.
He would have retired in 2004
In WCW Curt Henning put the “Giant” in a perfect plex. That was impressive for both men.
Yea... his athleticism was crazy. I remember seeing him do that stuff and just being amazed... I giant heavy weight, doing those cruiser weight moves... damn. The company should've let him continued to do those moves, just limit him.
He could jump over the top rope as well. He didnt seem to have any bone/joing problems in his body even though he was very tall. Other big men couldnt go like that. WCW got him to stop doing the moonsault because of houw dangerous it was, not for him but the guy he lands on. I think they just phased out his other high flying stuff as well and got him to work like a monster..
This is what Smackdown Vs Raw was made for
Probably the best damn advice, it would have become his trademark and eventually time would catch up, gravity would take hold, and home would be dead.
I think that bump he took last week was more dangerous than a moonsault
he could do very very poor missile drop kicks off the turnbuckle yes but he was extremally athletic for someone his size, he was all over the place as the giant he def was one of the most entertaining elements of pre monday night war.
I’ve seen him do all of that except for the moonsault
Understanding because you never want a person at that stature to go for a high risk move on tv and blow their knee out giants are ver important in wrestling
A very athletic Big Show was cool asf
Andre could do a somersault from the top rope and land on his feet in his early days. Would love to have seen it!
Big cass can be the next dominant giant
The big slow!! 😂 Legend
Imagine taking a freaking moonsault from the Big Show
Paul would have been a ruthless Barbarian back in when Barbarians were still around & handling their business
Sadly WCW had their commentatorz saying how Kevin Trash was the best big man instead of talking about Paul the Giant who actually wrestled.
Watch wcw in the 90s bruh athleticism was insane
Yup we remember
This reminds me of Kevin Nash telling the story when he first came into WWE is diesel and he hadn't actually had a match on TV yet he'd only been a bodyguard but he was working house shows, he did a sunset flip and got told by the undertaker if he ever did something like that again he would never get booked again by the WWE because big guys weren't supposed to do that stuff
Kevin Nash was working as Vinnie Vegas and Oz in WCW on tv before going to WWE
He would have been crazy in todays time where he would’ve been allowed to showcase this
He got too fat though he was only that athletic for like 4 years
Very impressive
I remember the Kip up and a couple of his missile drop kicks but in all my years the only big men I’ve seen do a legit moonsault was Vader & Bam Bam Bigelo
Man. WWE is so evil for not letting Show break his neck on live tv. Fed is so bad.
The moonsault would’ve been incredible to see. I guess hogan was willing to take it but they thought someone might get killed so he never did it
he'll always be the giant jr to me
Originally he said Hogan told him Not to do it as if he was giving him advice for a Big Man and Now adds his Job was on the line if he didn't 🤔
So was Hogan/Bishoff threatening to Fire him for potentially showing up Hogan in a Future Match?
I was hoping to see a moonsault
Now i wanna see him do the 619 and the eddie frog splash
