YAY UNBOXING time haha, and WOWSERS your new Copiapoa, Neoporteria and Steno are all absolutely GORGEOUS new beauties and all with awesome spines, and they look amazing in their new pots, argh yes this heat is really too much and we are not used to it in UK haha, and me being a woman of a certain age it makes my hot flushes and foggy head for a brain go through the roof hahaha :-D its 44c in the polytunnel now at just 11am and thats with two fans on and the door wide open, thanks so much for sharing the incredible unboxing and repotting of your new stunners with us Daz, and Hans and I are sending you and beautiful Edith lots of love and happiness and PLANT POWER to England and Singapore for a super Sunday today XXXX
Thank you so much, Lyn 😊 Haha yeah it’s funny we always complain about the weather though, either too hot or too cold, there’s never a nice in between 😂 Temps are rising in the greenhouse today, it’ll probably go over 40c at midday. Tomorrow and Tuesday are going to be the scorchers, though. I’ve just bought some 90% shade netting to drape over the greenhouse on those days. Thank you so much again, Lyn. Well Daz, looks like we are neck & neck when it comes to temperatures!!! It's really feeling like Southern California during the Santa Ana winds!!! These are hot winds that come off the Mojave desert and blow to the coast. We are having hot wind today!! 100° at this moment. Beautiful little plants!!! Love that neoporteria!!! The purple skin is awesome!!! Always love the stenocactus ( echinofossulocactus) I only have one at this time. Always keep my eye open for others & copiapoas!!! Try and stay cool if you can!!! Thank you so much, Clyde 😊 Yeah it’s gonna get super hot here over the next 24 to 48 hours. All this heat we’re getting is coming up from Spain and Portugal which have already seen temps in the mid to high 40s! I think we’ll definitely beat our temperature record of 2019. Actually decided to get some extra shade netting to drape over the greenhouse to protect them. Yeah love those dark skinned Neoporteria, hopefully that one will keep that colour and not green up too much. Stenocactus are awesome, just love those wavy ribs. Thank you so much 😊 Yeah Stenocactus are awesome, there’s several other species I want but they’ll have to wait for now. I like the range of colours in this lava rock, big difference to how it looks when it’s wet vs dry as well so it’s a good indicator of if to water or not. Here in southern Germany we have been having super hot and dry weather already for weeks!! Great for most of the cacti, provided lots of shade and open windows of the greenhouse available. Very beautiful plants Daz 🤩😍 love them all, the spines and colour are awesome. Specially at the end, they look more beautiful and the top dressing is beautiful colour too. I have 3 stenocactus and the smallest one is the one that only flowers for me haha. Love their wavy ribs.

Beautiful cactus from Cactusland, love the Neoporteria with its masses of spines and purple colour, the cute little Copiapoa is lovely and I love the Stenocactus! Amazing close ups at the end, such detail seen on the Copiapoa and it's spine colour.

Great additions, wise not to repot in heat. I have a few needing repotting , wanted to do on Sunday but thought too much stress for the plants with this extreme temperature. Catching up on videos 🙂
