There's maps at the trailheads and the shop in Graeagle, howling dogs can point you in the right direction. We rode round lake to long lake to smith creek and up graeagle creek.

Parked at smith creek trail head, rode up gold lake hwy to round lake then out to long lake and smith creek. Ride back up graeagle creek to the car
Awesome ride as always 👍. One thing...got a Race Face Turbine crank on my Bronson with GX derailleur and E13 wide range cassette but I do not like the cranks. can you recommend ones that you like? Don't wanna go for Carbon ones :)
SRAM and shimano are solid options. Some people like the boutique brand cranks like Hope ect but I've always stuck with SRAM or Shimano.

That looks sick, I'm headed up there next week to ride those trails for the first time, why'd you decide to skip summiting Mt Elwell?
Well we had a shuttle in dville to catch, but IMO Elwell ain't that good. Long hike a bike for subpar downhill. The best part of the elwell descent is smith creek. Long lake to smith creek is a great ride. Tons of other good routes as well 👍🏼

good question... once sheared a derailuer in half at the top of Pauley Creek Trail (15miles from town) and rode chainless back to town.

How is the jeffsy holding up? Is everything still stock?
The e13 wheels were trash, swapped for wtb i29's also swapped the suspension for Fox. But the frame is good 👌🏼
