Legendary! Great video. One of The first weddings I got to shoot in one of the videographers had a headset and it saved the day. So many years later I never thought to include that into my wedding’s til now.
Oh yes! It’s a must have! It blows my mind to think how long I filmed and didn’t have one lol. Giving one to the photographer is a game changer too. Most are usually all about it too.

This is a great video! Thanks for making it. Question for you - you mentioned having a photographer use one of these headsets. Do you find that photographers typically say yes when you ask them if they want to be on comms? Any tips on how to get them to say yes?
Thanks so much for watching. Yes, most usually love to wear them. I usually say something like “this will help in case you want to get a wide shot and we are in the middle or too close, we can use these to communicate easy during the main events”. Usually they always say yes. There’s some instances where they don’t which is ok but most say yes.

I followed your advice and got the Hollyland system. How do you avoid having the conversation between cameramen picked up by the camera mics?
Well produced a video. Can you add additional headsets if the production grows? How do you monitor audio when wearing a headset?
I use the one ear headsets and use the other ear to listen to audio.
Also, yes. You can add 8 to the kit without the hub. I believe you can go up to 16 with the hub.

Yeah Justin, I have a question. Do you use epidemic sound if so under what category do you use the most for wedding videos.
Hey. So I don’t actually use epidemic anymore at all. My music typically comes from artlist. The collection to me is probably some of the best. I search based on genre and BPM(beats per minute). It helps a bunch.

I know the Master unit can communicate with all the slave units at the same time, but my question is, can the slave units talk to each other as well? I can't seem to find the answer anywhere!
Yes they can. The master unit is the hub so all headsets are connected together through the master but you can have 2 slave units talking back and forth while the master is muted.
They must all be within range though
