Hey there arien. 💘 the final look !!! Fabulous !!! Recently gave my maxie dolls a makeover. I gave them a 1980s going to a dance club look. Gave my blonde maxie doll with long blonde crimped hair gold shorts and multi colored shirt. The maxie doll with reddish blonde hair is wearing black shorts and a red off the shoulder tank top. Both maxie dolls hair is in half up half down ponytail.

@@Barbination they both needed a different look. I'm an 1970s / 1980s Barbie doll lover. Now at my age it's all i have. I'm not married. No children and not dating anyone. My dolls are my children. I had a very rough year. Knee replacement surgery. I had the beginning of bone cancer. So surgery was needed and it saved my life. August will be a year that my mom passed away in her sleep. My dolls kept me from crying about my mom's death. And my dolls got me through my recovery from knee replacement surgery. They are very important to me. Got me through tough times.
I didn't like the furry monkey, but I love the pink and yellow outfit. I also like the pink underwear and her articulation. Even though the made-to-move bodies are more poseable I think they are ugly and prefer the articulated elbows, knees and wrists. My fav outfit is the Shopping Queen with Block Party as a close runner-up. I like the turquoise choker to go with the teal skirt.
I only have one Cutie Reveal Barbie and it's the deer. The furry outfit and the pet is adorable, but when I took the head off her hair was a rat's nest polypropylene nightmare! The deer head went right back on. I still haven't found the motivation to try and fix it. Good to know they aren't all like that. Love your makeover on this girl :)

Since u deal with doll hair a lot & know the names which hair is the really silky soft hair that doesn’t frizz called. I have a Cutie Reveal(blonde,blue,llama)& her hair is sooooo frizzy & dry as a bone & I haven’t even wet her hair all I did was brush it. Also does washing the hair mess up the colorful part of the hair
