"cut my teeth" on these back in the early '90's in FM Great & VERY user friendly - esp. using the Loc1 & 2 features (not shown in vid) which allow user to mark 2 different locations on the tape via timer and relocate tape back to that spot. Highly accurate in this!!! Thank you - great memories. We had 3 side-by-side with the trollies.
@@Seblington Yes. I finally found a manual in English on the net. It talks about changing jumper 11? I think. But, I'm still NOT sure if its that simple to change the machine to 15 / 7.15 / 3.75. Thanks for your reply. :)
Cheers! there are so many of these without the VU meters, I feel lucky to have one with them, being a portable one too saves space.

Fantastic description. Very nice machine. Mine is the VU on meter bridge version...they are great to own!!
Do you have a pic I can see what you mean I am looking to try and buy this machine
Cheers! I like this recorder too, looks better with wooden sides.
Nice vid. Our studio has one these studers!
If I bought an A807 with the lowest speed of 7.5 ips, can I make it play at 3.75 ips with the shuffle dial or some type of simple modification?
Does this mean the machine you have is a 30 / 15 / 7.1/5 ?
