No idea what the kitchen knife is from, but without looking it up, I think the Mort Pear is obtained from using the sickle blessing near a dead bush in Morytania.
Woah guys. Stop hating . It’s a puzzle . If he is doing something wrong or dumb, that’s like the whole point . Makes it better for next time he does one .
Thank you, I left all my mistakes and thinking out loud in the video on purpose, whats the fun if i cut it all out and make it look perfect. That would happen to no one that gets dropped into the unknown under pressure haha
@ exactlyyyy. I just don’t want people to deter him from doing other content. I love the escape rooms. He doesn’t have to make videos but he does for us to enjoy . 💜
Could tell you felt the pressure in this one, excellently designed puzzle. Completely forgot you could throw mud pies, let alone that they drop a pie dish. The gnome food training was the icing on the puzzle cake for me.
Loved the video, Verf! The failed bank pin forcing a wait time must have been crazy stressful. I definitely would have wasted forever looking for toad’s legs, so that was a big brain move to start gnome cooking. 10/10
The bank PIN was the hardest part for sure. I think the stack of 10 was a red herring, because 10 is not a number that can be entered in your PIN it should clue you off that that is not the correct way of thinking. But I think most people would think 10 translates to a 0.
Really fun doing it with you and screaming at the screen to use the gnome glider. Had no idea you got toad legs from starting the cooking delivery minigame. I thought at first you could obtain the seed pot from the minigame reward, but it teleport you to the grand tree itself (and it's rare).
You only get the seed pods from outside customers (either from Penwie in Karamja, Professor Manglethorp in Keldagrim, Brambickle in Trollweiss or Wingstone from the Kharidian desert). Can't get them from customers near the Grand Tree
Hmm, what an interesting chunk EDIT2: I'm an idiot, it's king worms they give, disregard my attempt at high IQ moment EDIT: This escape room could have been way more difficult if Glitch knew about an obscure trick. Completing the gnome restaurant tutorial before letting Verf on the account would block toad legs that way. However, if you talk to one of the gnome women, they will occasionally give you some toad legs, telling you you look sick. Almost nobody knows about this, so would be interesting if Verf would have found it :p
Oh my god, the new message sound effects at the beginning hit me like a vietnam war flashback... The msn messenger new message sound is seared into my brain forever
The god pages are each a different number. In this case, Guthix 1, Ancient 2, Sara 3, Zammy 4. The colors of the pages tell you the order. The corresponding color of dye tells you the number. So Guthix 1 (2 green dyes), Ancient 2 (1 purple dye), Sara 3 (3 Blue dyes), Zammy 4 (4 Red Dyes).
The dyes' quantities hint at the order: purple, green, blue, red. So, purple page is PIN digit 1, green page is digit 2, blue is digit 3, and red is digit 4. The quantity of the pages is a trick, hinted at with blue being 10 (an invalid digit). What really matters is the page # of each page. Green is "Guthix Page 1", and according to the TWO green dyes, that means the second digit of the PIN is 1.
The fact that they are numbered 1 through 4 made it extremely vague, because 1-4 seems like the order you would input each number, not the number themselves. IDK felt weird to me too
the page number for the god book not the amount of pages he had. i dunno the gods but for example bandos page 2 armadyl page 1 guthix page 3 saradonin page 4
You do, the number of dyes indicated the place and the number for the pin is based on what page number it is. The amount of pages in each stack wasn’t relevant.
the number of dyes indicated a colour order, this correlated to the colour of each page. The amount of pages was a misdirect, the number of the page, i.e "armadyl page 2", would be 2, so he got the number from the colour pages being in order and the number of each of them.
that was fun to watch, ignore the morons thinking the bank pin was easy, thats how it is for stuff like that sometimes, for example when you're doing word searches or finding something in a picture, someone might stumble upon it within seconds an someone else may take minutes, doesnt mean its easy, plus like you said you were under the pressure of the time n trying to solve it , while these idiots most likely paused the video an sat to think about it

Even people in the comments can't figure it out, it wasn't easy in the moment under pressure so that's easy to say in the comments. The ingame challenge was a bit to easy for me yes because I knew a lot about the chunk already
well the stats telling you exactly what to do in gameplay solves the whole thing instantly, the only other thing is the bank pin which is just a mind trick with the number of pages vs actual page number. so overall pretty bleh

Aside from all the hate about how easy the pin puzzle was, this felt kinda low effort. Other people have made these escape room videos and edited in a way that keeps the energy flowing. Watching this, then one of Settled's or Solomission's videos, there's a clear difference in energy and quality editing. I imagine it's hard to edit a video like this where the content creator is working out what to do, and you need to include some of the thought process so the viewer understands what's going on, just felt like the video was drifting. Also felt like a super low effort puzzle from glitch. That bank had hardly anything in it, so there's very few decision trees.
I wanted to show the thought process and mistakes in the moment and not make a clean edit with everything perfect and di audio after cus thats just not how it goes so I did that on purpose
@@VerfRS I totally get that, just leaving feedback that it seems low energy. That's why other content creators clean up the video and cut out too much standing around trying to work out the problem. Not saying everyone needs to edit like settled, I just had a hard time getting into this video.
