It's going to be one of those years, isn't it? With the drug cocktail this past week was on, I have a feeling there will be a shitton of shenanigans and unpredictability. And injuries. Plenty of injuries. As we all laugh at Philadelphia's epic choke, there were other games being played as well.
Prepare yourselves, the football will be furious... and it will be led by Derek Carr, Baker Mayfield, and Sam Darnols. Just as we all had predicted in the preseason.
2-0 is pretty nice.
Tree got NFL teams watching his content. You made it Big time!
Saints vs tampa is gonna be a bloodbath

It's the Bucs!
The fact that Philly pulled an Atlanta against Atlanta and prime time Kirk Cousins and it was like the 5th weirdest thing to happen in week 2 showed how chaotic this week was

"I'M CALLING BOTH GAMES" never gets old
A staple of Sportsball
I remember when it got taken out, I was angrier that a Harbaugh on Tuesday afternoon.
I kept commenting until it came back. It's so good
The start of the Chiefs’ dynasty began on that December day in 2019.

"It isn't Seattle football without giving their fanbase a bunch of unnecessary heart attacks just for the fun of it"
Truer words have never been spoken. You, sir, know ball.
Much like the changing weather in the Pacific Northwest, you get used to never getting used to it.
It's the ultimate irony that a Steelers fan has this much empathy for the Seahawks and their fanbase.....It's like they know they owe us something...
As a hawks fan this is all so true 😭
I mean, that can also apply to Seattle baseball half the time. Well, that and frequent heartbreak.

When Kevin Harlan actually called two games at the same time again 😂😂
I swear I love Kevin harlan😊
I was wondering if someone would bring that up! God bless Kevin Harlan... and I'm _agnostic_ !!
😂 I didn't realize that was Harlan in the opening. I saw that from this week. That's amazing.
Harlan needs a raise. He ACTUALLY calls both games 😭🤣😭😭
What a Chad
Anthony Richardson’s “Mystery box act” 😂
ANTHONY... RICHARDSON!!
Anthony playing like a rookie is to be expected, this was his 6th or 7th NFL start. The Colts run defense being completely absent for 3/4ths of the first 2 games however, is not. I wish I knew wtf was going on with them, cause it really sucks. Those were 2 very winnable games.

FINALLY! HE TURNED THE LOGO OF THE HOME TEAM AROUND IN THE SEGMENT GRAPHICS SO IT LOOKS LIKE THEY'RE DIVING AND IT DOESN'T LOOK LIKE THEY'RE FALLING OFF OF A CLIFF TO THEIR DEATHS!
Admittedly for some teams in certain weeks, the falling off the cliff look works.

The last time the Broncos didn't score a TD in a game, Kendall Hinton played Quarterback. Football, and pain, are truly back.
Edit: I refuse to believe the Russ games count...the Colts game was such a nightmare lol
You mean to tell me that despite how terrible their offense has been, they've scored a touchdown every game for the last 3+ seasons? That can't be right
October 6th, 2022, they only managed 3 field goals in a loss against the Colts. Russell Wilson was QB in that game.
Remember that Colts-Broncos game on TNF? lol
Including the vomit ball in the injuries list is bloody hilarious, hahahaha
BUTTERMAKER: Engelberg? There's chocolate all over this ball.
It was. Feels like it needed its own sound effect, though.
@@misterperegrine He technically did that a few times the previous season I think, but in my opinion, the coughing sound effect would've worked since I think the actual vomit sound effect is too graphic for me.
Congrats to the people who went under 40 minutes of Sportsball this week for the parlay lol
I dunno why anyone would bet the over when there's never been a 40-minute Sportsball before.
@soapsatellite To be fair, Tree mentioned the 40 minute thing on an X post during Week 2, so that's where it comes from.
@@KingCanada Ah, that's why this is my first time hearing about it then
I’m glad Kyler Murray finally found out that Marvin Harrison Jr existed
As a MHJ fantasy owner, im also glad that this exists
I'm still not sure what to make of Kyler's comments about MHJ leading up to last Sunday's game. I think he was trying to say that the offense wants to spread the ball and not force feed it to MHJ but it came out poorly. To be fair, the Bills defense (despite missing some key pieces) is also proving to be really good as saw against the Dolphins.
The O-line is too tall. Murray finally scrambled enough to be able to see him
Kinda wish they had included him in the offense for the last 3 quarters of the game but I would take another game like that.
@@willb6913 I think the Rams made adjustments to minimize MHJ. He should've had at least one catch in the second half but Kyler slightly overthrew him.
Eagles fans talking shit about the Cowboys, forgetting they had their own game happening the next day, reminded me of the playoffs.
Your PHI/ATL recap was legendary. I was cackling when I heard the "screaming in horror before drowning in cheez whiz."

Got a few predictions for the Panthers in 2024:
- Trade Bryce Young to Miami before the trade deadline.
- David Tepper fires Dave Canales around Week 12.

Watching the Bengals bungle never gets old. It's like clockwork. They have a brief stint of productive football, they get uppity and full of themselves, and then they bungle it away in hilarious self-defeating fashion. Doesn't matter who's coaching or who's under center, the Bungles will Bungle. It is a law of the universe as much as E=MC squared
And my NFL week is complete as soon as I hear "I'M CALLING BOTH GAMES!!"
The Giants got trolled for not having a kicker by losing to a team who kicked SEVEN field goals. Comedy at its finest 🤣🤣
Glorious week to be an Atlanta Falcons fan and seeing your team being reverse Falcon'd
Brandon Aiyuk securing the bag has caused undue internal tension as players now see their teamates as job competition. Cracks in the foundation are starting to show because of the impending cap crunch. Don't get me wrong, the 49ers are legitimate contenders, probably an 11-win team in 2024, but major concerns are to be had about their future.
I can see that happening. If you think about it, if it wasn’t for the luck of having Purdy then they’d be in some shit for a few years. Trey Lance seems like he would’ve done ok but not a Super Bowl caliber team with Brock.
I don't think it has to do with Aiyuk getting paid, at least not now. The cap crunch isn't until next year when the Purdy bill is due. This team simply isn't as deep as previous incarnations (like the '21 team), and the Vikings' defense is a tough matchup for SF.
@@lydiavalentino I understand your take but respectfully disagree. Internal pressure works in mysterious ways. Aiyuk was just given serious dough and it is now widely known that there are a lot of mouths still to be fed with monetary tablescraps. And this is just what we're being told publicly.
It's going to result in Deebo leaving the team. His contract is up after this season, and San Fran can't afford to pay him considering that Purdy is likely going to get at least $60 million a year.
Kinds disappointed there was no mention of Joe Alt. Bro looks incredible through two games, zero pressures for Maxx Crosby, and holding jadaveon clowney to his worst game in his career. Crazy
is anyone actually surprised though? we all knew he was gonna be amazing
Jim Harbaugh 🤝 offensive line and running game
Is anyone surprised by this?
Everyone knew he was going to be a stud the moment he wore dad clothes to his NFL Draft party. That alone shows that he'd be an elite offensive linemen.
Not 45 minutes. Knew I should have bet the under.
Someday a sportsbook will legitimately offer bets on Tree’s content like that.
Is anyone else worried that the “Bring out your dead” segment seems to get longer and longer each week/year? 😢
I mean that's the shit that's going to happen when the NFL removes Preseason games and encourages dangerous play.
Nothing like Philly losing a game that was winnable.
They and baltimore were my superbowl pick.. i stand by it
@Davidjon1946 The battle of the Northern Birds....
I like it!
They gotta get their ish together, though.
This loss broke my heart.
Sounds like a Falcons thing too.
Until it wasn’t.
As an Atlanta fan, there's only one quote that sums up my reaction to our win against the Eagles:
"Good God, it's strange to see this from the outside."-Sir Integra Hellsing, Hellsing Ultimate Abriged.
My NFL week is not over until I hear “I’M CALLING BOTH GAMES!”
Petition to use the Quake "HOLY SHIT" sound effect at least once a week.
Eagles fans, I feel your pain. I was up 10 points in fantasy before that final Falcons touchdown. My opponent had Cousins, London and Koo. if any other scenario happened besides a London TD, I would have won. Pain.
I would just quit the league tbh 😂😂😂
The return of the Bungles is not something I'd witness, considering I've lost a friend over that nickname 😂
Honestly the entire city of Baltimore deserves to be Lolcow of the Week. Not only did the Ravens lose to the Raiders in a game they were favored by double digits to win, the Orioles allowed a pitcher in his first major league start to throw 7 perfect innings. Brandon Hyde and John Harbaugh cannot manage a roster if their lives depended on it, and its only fitting that Mike Elias and Eric DeCosta copying and pasting each others work. Did I mention that they both trusted Daniel Faalele and Craig Kimbrel to bail them out, LIKE THATS CUTE!
The O's collapse has been pretty depressing. At least they're in line for a Wild Card though (my Mariners will probably miss out again).
@@andyjay729 I don't think they're even making the playoffs. With how pathetic their lineup and bullpen have been, they could lose out to the Tigers for that last spot.
@@michaelhession2105 Are you talking about the Orioles or Tigers?
@@andyjay729The O's. They've been decimated by injuries and incompetence. It's like our old manager is back.
The Only Reason Harbaugh could _possibly_ have defended Greg Roman as OC was because ownership forced him to. Unfortunately this is one of those things where life imitates art. Eventually the players figure out what's going on. & when what's going on is someone in management or ownership is undermining even one player for any reason, team unity suffers & players lose all faith in their coaches. We're seeing this play out in Philly again, in CHI _WAY quicker_ than I expected, to the Bengals, Jags & last year in Seattle.
The Jags seem to be forcing Pederson to let Press Taylor ruin the team. The Bengals _are_ infighting & jealous of the $ their teammates are making.
Seattle & the Saints are great examples though of how quickly the players get right back on board once they don't think there are any lingering problems.
A fair reminder that Malik Willis threw a TD pass before Caleb Williams (and other QB's).
Eagles pulled a falcon choke job and lost at home to the Falcons lmao!🤣 😂
"Like Edgar Allan Poe in a back alley" when talking about the Ravens no less. Nicely done.
Wait, Tua's injury came from running into Damar Hamlin? The guy who nearly died on the field two seasons ago? That is one sad twist of fate there.
The fact that the Eagles Falcon'd against the Falcons so hard that Washington is now on top of the NFC East the same weak that they won without scoring a touchdown is a sign of how badly the Eagles messed up

Congratulations, Tree; your Pitt Panthers are undefeated
If the Sunday night game is telling us anything, it’s that the Bears by the end of the season are going to completely destroy any confidence Caleb had coming into the league. It’s been two games and he’s already losing his college swagger. Yea he’s missed some throws, but still people forget what having a bad line does to a quarterback. when you are constantly getting pressured, then every single time you drop back even if you have time to throw the past experience makes you think in your head that you have to get rid of the ball really quickly, which can then cause you to make more mistakes, so there is also a very much psychological effect to this.
I should also mention that due to this increased pressure this also leads Caleb to feeling like every time he has any time at all that he hast to make a play. And that need to make a play in those situations is what led to those two interceptions because on the first one he actually had time so he felt like he had to take advantage of it, threw it downfield and it got picked and then the second one you see Caleb escapes and he thinks oh crap I might not have another opportunity to make this play so he throws it down the field and it gets picked off and triple coverage and yes, that was a stupid throw. But when you’re getting sacked for the game and you have no time to throw when you actually do have any chance at all you’re gonna take that shot because he’s not experienced enough to know and not take that shot
as a Panthers fan, I need you to do a redux on David Tepper. His managerial malpractice has created malignancy the likes of which the NFL has never seen: and yes I'm including the winless Browns 😂. But he'll harp ON AND ON about how great BoA stadium is as a concert venue.
The other 31 teams have one job this season: Keep the Chiefs away from a three-peat. We're 0-2 on that front.
Yeah, turns out winning against them means not getting in your own way, no matter how human you make them look for half the game or more.
That PI was the dumbest shit I've ever seen and it's because there's literally no excuse for being that sloppy with a lead on the line.
