    I had my Slash out in the exact same heavy snow yesterday. Killed my battery in no time with all the extra weight! Still fun while it lasted! Thanks for the video.

      Glad you like it! Yeah it was fun but it definitely drained the battery fast

    We just got 20 inches of snow where I live I run my slash 4x4 as a monster slash and it gets thrown alot of the snow pretty good on 3s

      Nice! So you put 2.8s on it? And it actually got through that deep of snow?

      @@RCKnockout ya never had an issue with it getting stuck I have 2.8 badlands on it I still have the HCG chassis to I found the LCG as a monster slash was no good

    • @RCKnockout
      @RCKnockout  3 роки тому

      @@tonycope8155 I gotcha….I definitely could see how the lcg wouldn’t work better in the snow

    Very cool (pun intended)! I wonder if you spray some Pam cooking oil spray on the underside of the chassis and body if the snow wouldn't stick as bad? Just a thought 😀.

      It might help…..I’ve thought about using wd40, probably would work about the same

    I wonder if they make front skies for the slash.

      I know they do for the 2wd…..probably not for the 4wd though lol 😂

    I’ll have to pick up a set of paddle tires for my Slash to use next winter. Too much snow here now, along with too many upgrades in progress.

    • @RCKnockout
      @RCKnockout  3 роки тому

      Yeah it’s fun but these weren’t the best conditions for the paddle tires

    Gotta love paddle tires bro so addicting! 👍👊 You should try some 2.8 monster truck tires on this slash in this snow. Just for fun see what happens

    • @RCKnockout
      @RCKnockout  3 роки тому

      Yeah they didn’t work as well as I’d hoped but it didn’t go terrible…I might try the 2.8s on the slash at some point…we will see

    looks like fun in the snow. i quite fancy getting myself some paddletires but just a shame the snow was so soft and thick. the slipper clutch bearing on my slash recently seized up after a wet run but the others were completely fine. how do you clean it when it gets wet? loving all the content by the way my friend!!

    • @RCKnockout

      Glad you like it! I use compressed air to dry my rc cars…you can try using wd40 to help get the moisture out of the bearings
