Windy Evening Trout Fishing In Western Newfoundland

We enjoyed a very windy evening fishing for trout and land locked salmon at the Howley narrows in Western Newfoundland. You can also see the massive Main Dam outside Deer Lake on the route that we travelled to get to our fishing destination. Great feed of moose burgers and moose sausages.

Yum! Smoked trout! Be soo good. Smoked mackerel is good but trout is better in my opinion. I smoked rainbow trout, it was good but forgot to let the fish dry before putting it in the smoker. Guess rushing doesn't pay off as well. Lol
