Dude I just started playing Tarkov and that beginning hit like a truck. It took me 6 tries to finish and the last time I spent 20 minutes laying prone in the forest nearby on night customs
If Scotty was also on the quest (why he still wanted the key?) then the watch would have been there for him as well, it spawns per-player (all the quest items do) Also you 100% went to the right place for Smuggler's Boat but it's only there sometimes; you can tell if it's active if there's a fire lit down by the water Cool video!

a way to tell if smugglers boat is useable is if the campfire is lit, you can sometimes tell from a distance from the smoke also dont stand on the campfire. fire hot
And that's why I'm still level 5 trying to finish the bullshit quests in the bullshit map that is ground zero. I've not once said hey, I'll even drop you my stuff idc just lemme do these quests and have it work. I am immediately blasted by level 15 asshats with access to flea.
2x the stamina tip. I personally never go past 50% unless I'm going through a really open field. And even then, the last like 10% is only for emergencies.

I love how in the urban areas @3:50 , it reminds me of the aesthetics of The Division. Except that this is tarkov and this is how the division should have been: tactical instead of being a looter shooter.
I miss being able to play on US/AUS servers, where you can talk to other PMCs and Player Scavs, got a lot of co-op extracts done this way. The Asia server is wild, just activating your mic automatically makes you Tagged and Cursed for both PMCs and Scavs 💀
How on earth you want to keep playing this game? I ask the same question to myself. 10 raids today and 10 cheaters, every raid mr. I know where you are from 200 meters. I know there are rats waiting and waiting, but when I crawl with 0 speed amongst grass and trees or freeze, looking at guy running 3x normal speed, Im not expecting geting head shot out of nowhere. When I make 0 noise and hide behind some wall in corner, Im not expecting him to run with no hesitation and prefire me. Every raid, my death was super suspicious. Guys with like 10 000hrs in game and 28 raids or guys with 18 k/d... Im over, really lost my gear, tried to get some fun, maybe only in killing scavs with my long prepared toys, but I haven't even shoot once with most of them, head shot out of nowhere. F this game, dont waste your time, if you have shity shotgun or shity pistol, cheaters will piss on you, but if you have good stuff they will ducking fly over map to get it. Full auto in your head, with no aiming, some simple AK, no scope, no optics, full auto in your head. Still EFT sells like "buy 5 copies, 20% discount". I start to think that EFT devs are also the ones who sell those cheats. This game is total cehating hell.

Fun fact: The Customs map is upside down and Dorms is at the South side of the map...BSG also messed up orientation of the Ground Zero map. If you use the compass on Customs and expect to find dorms on the north side, you're going to have a bad time navigating
So far this wipe I’ve been getting my ass handed to me on Ground Zero. I then have a great raid with about 4 PMC kills and heaps of loot only to be killed by the landline in the bathroom. I immediately turned off my PC and walked away 🤣
Good video, but the title is misleading. I was expecting an instructional or a how to video with tips and tricks. This is just a playthrough video with some narration. Not really any concrete actionable steps to take to survive as a casual. Keep up good work but try to keep titles topical

I struggle the most when is needed to kill anything for sure, even more when the target is pmc, i can run the map avoid chads all arround and do any grab or delivery quests, but kill pmcs in focus is totally insane, i not know how, but when they see me, i not can see them, when i see them, even before i shot, they already target me as well, in open fields. Most inside fights is based on pure better gear, what is shit as well

The game is at it's best shape right now bro, the recoil rework is great, the armor rework is decent, though I also do wish that they remove the found in raid requirements for quests. Still, now would be the best wipe to play (or the next if you have Arena) They added the FIR requirement to counter RMT, which comes at the expense of us casual timmies who cant play 24/7
@@ppsarrakis Good point, I wholeheartedly agree. I always use the the armor I loot from other PMCs but not the Gucci NATO guns they have, which I can only sell for peanuts to traders. The FIR mechanic is just unrealistic for a game that's supposedly a hardcore realistic shooter.
ALT + B checks if you're on full auto or not. if you're using a gun with 3 selections like the ak-12 the bear starts with or the mp5 the USEC starts with then holding B will switch from single shot to full auto without switching to burst in between.
I understand that the whole precipice of this game is difficult for the "casual" player, but is there really any way to get into it regardless? Does the game even offer solo-only? I own and have played before but the experience wasn't great.
Look for SPT AKI - it's not officially endorsed by BSG, and if you confuse installs, might get you banned, but otherwise is a fully-functional solo player Tarkov. Make sure to read and understand the terms for SPT (the foremost of which is having a legal copy of EfT).

brand new to tarkov, just over 20 raids in to the game. its so intimidating trying new maps, constantly stepping on landmines, no clue where to go for quests or extracts etc.

@whacc_ use overwolf, they have "gamemaps" and tarkov is provided too. Its control+F and an overlay pops up with the maps of the game. Gets updated and has different versions. Helped me so much man
@@whacc_don’t feel bad about having to look things up. It would take an absurd amount of time and patience to just figure things out without help in this game. Also so much of the game is map knowledge. If you really don’t want to use a map just use offline raids and learn the maps before you play them in real raids. At least just learn extracts so you aren’t totally lost. Quests are also incredibly difficult if you don’t look up where to go. Everyone has to use the wiki.

I was in the liquor store for 20 minutes the first time I tried to complete that quest. By the time I found the wine bottle everyone else had already left the raid. Then I forgot to turn it in and died in the next raid so I had to go back.
Hope you wind up hitting the flea market. I’m glad this patch has been so great for everyone. With the new recoil rework, the new map, and arena, tarkov is much easier for new players and people who don’t have as much time to play. Tarkov is the most rewarding game I’ve ever played. I’ve sunk 1000hrs since 2021 and not other game compares. I take breaks but i always come back to tarkov when a new patch drops. Hope you enjoy this wipe.

going at night and waiting on a bush for the last 10mins of the raids works 99% of the time for me
Yeah I do that if I can't do it any other way, it is in someways the most effective. Especially if you don't have the keys.
Pro survival tip: Slow it down a little take some time to look around and dont sprint until your stamina is depleted
