Corroded Cartridge on an Inflatable PFD

- We were lucky that this corroded CO2 cartridge still held gas and inflated the PFD. If your LIFE depends upon a successful inflation inspect your PFD often. Keep in mind Inflatable PFDs work best when they are adjusted for a snug fit around the midsection but we had it loose for this boater to experience just how much it would inflate. Additionally, we indicated that we would adjust it after it inflated- for testing purposes only.
