Awesome video thanks, i just bought a bass pro vest. I like the mustangs but it was to tight around my neck, where as the bass pro version had a nice big neck on it.

Good video! What exactly does the bobbin do and what could cause the ribbing to wear down?
Bobbins have to dissolve like an aspirin pill when they come in contact with water, which is how the device activates itself. The deteriorate over time, especially in humid environments.
@@bassresource Hi I have a bobbin that is 8 yrs old but it looks brand new, do you think it's still good as it doesn't show any deterioration?
What about the H.I.T. vests?
So every time it activates,you gotta spend $30-40 to re arm ??? Thats crazy money ..
Do you plan on falling in the water often?
@@bassresource yes , like for recreational use or jump off boats often. So this wouldn't be for me .I'd need one of them bulky ones
