Maria, if you LOVE rose & raspberry as much as I do, and you want the ultimate combo with good longevity (6 hours) and moderate silliage for summer, look no further than Rose of no Man's Land by Byredo! Normally I don't vibe with Byredo because the frags are light as heck, but this rose is the exception, the most delicate yet projecting rose & raspberry combo I've ever smelt! Awesome video!

I don’t see people talking about french traditional brands! My favourite is Galimard, but Molinard also caught my attention. I just love the classic natural smelling traditional type of scents. These houses should get better treat😊. Galimard is the oldest perfumery if I’m not mistaken.
A few years ago everyone talked about Jean Paul gautier la belle edp and it’s still amazing! I’m also puzzled why no one ever talks about Chloe nomade, especially the absolue version. It’s a lifer for me. I don’t think people mention Mon guerlain like they used to, another lifer. And Chanel coco noir is beautiful even if you are not 80.
I have Dossier's Golden Rum & Amber and I love it. However, I would disagree that it is masculine leaning - to me it is definitely just unisex. In fact, I find it so sweet that I usually layer it with Dossier's interpretation of Jazz Club (I think it is Woody Tobacco?) because it seems to balance out the sweetness of Golden Rum & Amber. But I would definitely recommend it - it's very interesting and deep. I love wearing it in the winter and it performs great!
I finally got some Eli Saab samples and Girl of Nowhere Shine was my favorite and I will be adding that one to my collection soon. Other ones I learned about on UA-cam but don’t hear much about are Lalique Soliel, Jimmy Choo Illicit and Lolita Lempicka EDP, oh and of course Rebecca Minkoff EDP and Rebecca Minkoff Blush EDP. All very affordable and just amazing! I’d say SJP Stash too but I feel like it’s gotten the love it deserves.
I have gone through so many bottles of GON Shine! I enjoy the entire range, but Shine is like a top 10 fragrance for me. The scent profile and performance is truly top tier!
Had the Black Perfecto, but it quickly faded on me, so I used it up pretty fast. I much prefer the original LPRN, and right now I'm thinking of buying the new Absolu flanker... 😊
I agree that GON Shine is just a little better than the original GON. Like you mentioned, the balance is just a bit better. I think Elie Saab Royale is a bit decisive and that's why it doesn't get talked about as much. It went really wrong for me, it does seem to be the balance of the patchouli. On my skin it is very medicinal and green while still being cloyingly sweet, and the other notes get drowned out. Bee is soooo good, I am always suprised it seems to get so little attention. I love the whole LPRN line and am suprised it doesn't get talked about more. A couple that don't seem to get much attention (at least anymore) that I still love are; Givenchy Ange ou Demon EDP. I find it sexy and beautiful and it performs amazingly. It is a touch mature, so that maybe why some are veering away from it. Burberry Brit EDP. It was massively popular years ago, but I still think it is amazing and not at all dated. Still pretty easy to find for a great price and the reformulation is almost indistinguishable from the older version.
I haven’t tried Ellis bee, but last week I tested zoologist bee. Can honey be indolic ? It was very intense honey. Ellis bee sounds softer. I might prefer it.
I swear I haven't heard anyone. Describe fragrances like you do period so many of them. I feel like I could just eat up after hearing your descriptions😊
My favourite hidden gem that no one talks about is "Sexual" (for her) by Michel Germaine. I hate the name BTW. But every time I wear this fragrance someone compliments me. It's kind of a spicy and fresh floral and probably smells dated to a younger nose, as it doesn't smell like a gourmand, have a prominent vanilla note, or fruits. Sillage and longevity are excellent. And finally the price point is very reasonable. Love this one to the point that I bought a backup bottle.
I own Elie Saab Royal because of your recommendation back in 2021. I love it, I don’t know what the scent is that captivates me, smells like cake and makes me go Mmmm! It may not be something edible but it sure is delightful. On another note: Have you ever tried Michael Buble’s EDP “ By Invitation , Signature” IMO it is a spicy, sexy and long lasting fragrance that I enjoy wearing. I have received compliments and questions of what fragrance I am wearing. Perhaps you might check it out since Michael is our own Canadian celebrity.
I am one who likes patchouli... And I'm always happy to find something that is strong but not too expensive. Maybe my husband really doesn't like patchouli... He always says that he either likes or dislikes a smell, but he never analyses them.
Love black perfecto, one of my favourites. I enjoy most of Ellie Saab perfumes but royal is horrible. I don't even want to give it to anyone for a present because i don't know anyone who would like it!
I love Elie Saab Le Parfum Royale! Everything is just so beautiful, even the box it came with! (I prefer to gatekeep this fragrance so I won't smell like everyone.) Elie Saab is a very underrated fragrance brand in general. Then, I was with my best friend when she bought Issey Miyake Rose & Rose so I got to smell it too. As someone who dislikes rose scent, I loved how it smelled because it was a jammy rose. Last year, I gifted her Oscar de La Renta Rose and she said that it smelled like Rose & Rose.
