A dedicated plant video is NOT too much!!! From one green thumb loving plant person to another, a dedicated plant video is NEEDED! I go crazy with house plants and outdoor plants/flowers that attract butterflies and hummingbirds. Currently building 2 separate butterfly dedicated gardens.
I have to say, over the past few years, watching your growth as a person and a UA-camr has been a genuine delight. I feel so proud of you and your accomplishments. From talking about mental health to the lack of a shade range in foundations to acknowledging and apologizing for your own mistakes, you are so wholesome and good. And I truly am thankful for reddit. And I never skip ads on your videos. You're welcome. :D
That's why sunlight is the bane of my existence. I can pretend there's no cat hair until the sun comes around to the living room and then it's like I'm living in cat hair world in a cat hair house with cat hair floors.
I like that you constantly say how much you love your furnishings and accessories. One should always surround themselves with things they love and your beautiful home shows what a happy family you are.
Your room is EXACTLY my aesthetic. I've been slowly collecting plants (that I can manage to keep alive) and boho-ish-style things for my house and I LOVE it.
Your style is precious! I looove Pothos plants. I bought a Pothos after my very first plant (a fern) died, and it was hearty enough to let me learn to care for it without it dying the first week. Now I've got six different house plants that have been thriving for over a year! Snake plants are so cool looking. I need one next.
I'm moving in to my own space next year and have decided I have to get this bed! I've been watching so many room tours and this has definitely been my favorite so far!!!
I was having a bad day, and just watching your video brightened my mood. Idk. I just feel like I got a friend in you and it got my mind off all the shit that just happened, so thank you. I know you probably will not see this, but thanks anyway.
The book thief! I know, out of every beautiful thing you’ve shown I spot a book BUT it’s such a beautiful book. Your home looks so cozy and warm and inviting what a great space ❤️
Oh wow Sam, this is honestly the most beautiful bedroom I have ever seen!!! So many unique pieces and perfectly curated. Also, very happy to see an influencer doing a room tour that isn't full of the same colours and furniture! Yours is original and PERFECT xxx
Your baby sanctuary is lovely, all pieces are nice, but I gotta say your pyramid shelf is the first piece that jumped out when we walked in your room. Very relaxing room indeed.
I am so down for a dedicated plant video! I agree on the no tvs in the bedroom. Your room is a dream, I love all the white on the bed, yet with different textures. Your reading nook is perfect and Kuma is so adorable!
I’ve been watching you before I moved to Canada. I adore you Sam, I think you are such a great and candid person and your growth and willingness to share your ups and downs I feel is so prevalent for your followers. Don’t get me wrong I love the glossy beauty hauls and makeup but I love that you are moving into mindfulness and lifestyle. I think it really compliments who you are and how you’ve grown as a young woman. I hope you are happier with the direction your content is going and I love that you seem inspired to create more content and I hope it reflects that we are here to support you. Also that chest is fucking majestic!!!!!
I understood when you had previously said you weren't that big into home tours because that's ya space, gotta protect it! BUT I am so glad you did end up posting this because I love your taste in decor and also I'm nosy af. so happy to see you posting so often!
Omg. Your room is insanely perfect. I'm not great with interior decor/design and I can never figure out my "style" with interiors but your room..every single aspect was just so stunning and perfect and I absolutely loved everything you had in there!! Great job. Esp with the balance of earthy natural and plush modern feel.
I had my baby in February, and I started lacking watching videos. But this is my 3rd video i got to watch since having her, and all 3 have been yours! I just love watching your videos, you're so genuine and funny and local. I've got so much respect for you that I feel like just watching your updates/ videos gives me a little me time again. It takes me a few days to watch a video sometimes but you're definitely my favourite youtuber ! Thank you for staying true to yourself and informative on your products and tips.
PS- The key to succulents is balancing the amount of light and how much water you give it and how often. Also, if you re-plant a succulent in a pot, perlite and horticultural charcoal are the most important things to add to soil, plus using cactus/succulent high drainage soil.... hard lessons that I have learned after I've killed like 15 innocent plants. Depending on the succulent, I prefer to give the leaves/limbs a little squeeze to see how soft they are. A lot of people check the soul, but it's kind of hard to shove your finger down in the pot, 6-8 inches to check moisture levels. Maybe check out succulent moisture checker probe thingys. You can find them online for cheap.
So cute! I usually think super minimalist decor looks a bit bland, but your space looks so cozy & inviting. Also, as a candle snob, I highly recommend you check out Himalayan candles. They’re a boutique brand, but the scents are so freaking good. All the packaging is super cute.
I never knew this video is everything I wanted from you, Sam. It was like watching a friend show me her room and be silly in front of the mirror. Love the room. Thanks for sharing!
I love your room!!! It seems to be very uplifting. The plants alone would snap me out of my negative feelings and or depression. Do you get a positive feel from plants? I've been in a rut lately and idk I forgot how plants can change the whole mood of a room. When I was a kid my mom had over a hundred plants in our home. I forgot the feeling. I think I'll go out and get me some plants. Thank you Sam for sharing💖💖💖
This was so coool!!!! I love hearing how excited you were to talk about everything and I think it was very enjoyable to watch because literally every single piece is you! Love you and your style Sam
for the table that cant get wet - i would go to a hardware store or something and ask for a sealer that would be resistant to water, and test it on maybe the side or underneath the table top to see if it messes with the finish... if not, then sealing it will ensure it will stay nice and lovely but also functional! your room is gorgeoussssssss
I LOVED this video!! I can't wait to have my own apartment so I can start afresh with the decor. My family home is so full of junk and the only saving grace is the outside, where my dad grows all his plants. Thank you also for keeping that last clip in.
You have fantastic taste! I remember watching I think a tour of your office maybe a year ago? Unsure of when but you inspired me so much. When I move out I hope I can make my home as relaxing and beautiful as yours ❤️
@4:18 hedera hibernica aka Irish Ivy. They are not poisonous and propagate rather quickly. Your air plants are dying because you are not watering them based on their conditions. They are getting pretty good light so water them more frequently (submerging in water for 15 minutes, then hanging air plant upside down to prevent root rot) and mist a few times a week. Drying it upside down is KEY!!
that trunk is so cute!! my mom has a similar one she got from her grandmother and she puts all of her memories in it and she calls it her Hope Chest! super cool idea 😬
I love how "West Coasty" your decorating style is! We're redoing our house and trying do the same thing! Fellow BC girl here ( Vancouver Island) love watching your videos!
This is the video that's going to cause me to go broke. I need... all of those things. Now I gotta go to wayfair and my local plant shop. Needless to say, I loved this video Sam! Your room looks awesome, it manages to look modern but also Moroccan, you've mixed the two styles very nicely.
Wow...I didn't think anyone could capture what I imagine for my bedroom someday, and then I saw this. I wish I could take a picture, blink my eyes and magically duplicate all of it in exactness to my house XD Beautiful, bright, serene room! Also, your dog is the CUTEST.
Yes SAM! I've been following you since ye olde reddit days and I am so happy to see you're still finding new inspiration for content. I too struggle with mental health - mostly anxiety - and I know how hard it can be to get going but girl... you are GOING STRONG!
love your bedroom so much! it's cozy and inviting. also Kuma looks so big on your bed! That pyramid shelf is my favorite piece in the bedroom! can't wait for an updated beauty room tour when you're done with the space
The aesthetic of this room is to die for!!😍🤩🤤 Little baby Kuma isn’t so little anymore!!😱🐕 And, I think a dedicated plant video would be ideal!!😂🌿 Thank you for sharing this beautiful space with us. Love you, Sam!!🧡😘 xoxoxoxoxoxo
Your bedroom is beeeeautiful, super cozy and clean chic A++ points for Kuma piece v v special I don't know if it's latino superstition but I grew up with my grandma and great-grandma saying snake plants should always be kept outside the house for protection and that they are "bad luck" inside
You did SUCH an amazing job with this room!!! It’s not always easy to make minimalist look warm and inviting, but man, did you do it with APLOMB. You’ve been inspiring me to put more plants in my living space, and it’s amazing how much it helps with the mental space as well! 🌺
I love your room great vibes. You've come along way with opening up , I remember when you didn't want us to see anything in your house. You were very private and even made a get ready with me explaining why it was very personal to you now we seeing room tours bathroom tour yasss Sammmm😘😋
You are the first UA-camr I have ever watched and it’s fun to watch you grow from a room in your parents apartment with the (tuba?) player in the background to this
Someone probably already said this but just in case they didn't, your pothos is also known as 'devils ivy' and the other one is an English ivy. They're both beautiful and from completely different unrelated plant families. I've never seen a pothos in a terrarium before. Not sure if that will work long term but it does look pretty. They like filtered diffused light and never direct light but yours does seem happy. I would put it in a porous pot at some stage to keep him happy 😊 this helps to draw out the moisture. Only water when soil is dry. You're plants look lovely. And the bedroom decor is gorgeous ! well done (hope my little plant lecture didn't sound antagonising 😂 I mean well) 🌿🌿🌿🍃🌱💚💚💚
Absolutely love your room!!! & thank you so much for listing plants. Moving to Vancouver for the summer, but when I get home next autumn I want to add more plants to my room
Jessica Machak I agree!! I need to learn and Sam seems to know what’s up lol
Agreed!
My friend called me a grandma because of the plants I have, lol, glad I'm not alone!
OMG yes i agree plants are my favorite!!
Jessica Machak I was thinking that too 😍🌿

PandasAreBAE what happens when you skip ads on videos?
UA-camrs earn their income off of ad revenue (and sponsorships, if they decide to do one).
Also don’t mind my lack of vacuuming I have two dogs constantly releasing their hair all over my life
Samantha Ravndahl Same! I’ve given up! 🐕 🐶
Yes I know the struggle 😅
Worth it.🐶
That's why sunlight is the bane of my existence. I can pretend there's no cat hair until the sun comes around to the living room and then it's like I'm living in cat hair world in a cat hair house with cat hair floors.
I feel you, except it’s my own hair trying to encompass my entire apartment
I like that you constantly say how much you love your furnishings and accessories. One should always surround themselves with things they love and your beautiful home shows what a happy family you are.
Your room is EXACTLY my aesthetic. I've been slowly collecting plants (that I can manage to keep alive) and boho-ish-style things for my house and I LOVE it.
**changes shirt to look like a different day** **outs self in the first five seconds of video** god dammit sam i just love you
Dude. Thanks for teaching me so much about plants tonight. I can’t keep much alive either and you’ve inspired me to try new plants!
Thanks for sharing. Definitely looks and feels like a sanctuary. I’m still gawking over the actual size of the room. It’s amazing.
yes that room is worth wherever you had to move to, (I'm guessing Langley??)
Honestly, Kuma ties the whole room together.
Your style is precious! I looove Pothos plants. I bought a Pothos after my very first plant (a fern) died, and it was hearty enough to let me learn to care for it without it dying the first week. Ugh I love this so much. This is exactly what I want. Natural light, elements of nature, plants I can’t kill and cute dogs.
I know you probably will not see this, but thanks anyway.
honestly love how genuine and soothing you are
The book thief! I know, out of every beautiful thing you’ve shown I spot a book BUT it’s such a beautiful book. Your home looks so cozy and warm and inviting what a great space ❤️
your bed frame is exactly what i want when i get a new one. i love the attached nightstand. such a beautiful, peaceful room!

I love with the decor. I see you totally being able to do a whole channel on just decor, and helping others find their style just like mr.kate
I understood when you had previously said you weren't that big into home tours because that's ya space, gotta protect it! BUT I am so glad you did end up posting this because I love your taste in decor and also I'm nosy af. so happy to see you posting so often!

This video is seriously some of the best content of the entire internet. I love it so much! So many interesting pieces!
I ❤️ that more and more people are getting into plants! I love them & love the energy they create in a room. 👍🏼
Your bedroom looks like such a beautiful peaceful retreat. I want to have a pretty bookshelf set up like yours anywhere in my house one day!

You have a great sense of style with decor - not my personal taste but it feels very beachy and light, and it suits you well :)
I mean this in the best way possible you would be the dopest grandma 😂❤️❤️
Now I'm so sad it's over I NEED more
I never knew this video is everything I wanted from you, Sam. It was like watching a friend show me her room and be silly in front of the mirror. Love the room. Thanks for sharing!

Sam you are KILLING IT with the uploads, man
I LOVED this video!! I can't wait to have my own apartment so I can start afresh with the decor. My family home is so full of junk and the only saving grace is the outside, where my dad grows all his plants. Thank you also for keeping that last clip in.
Okay but like where can we get a Kuma? Wayfair? Lol
Maite Figueroa West Elm

Your bedroom is gorgeous, and all items are so unique! I also love your plant collection. Thanks for sharing! :)
Sam. Your room is the actual dream. I aspire to your level of decorating skill.
Crisp and clean white bedding is literally the best thing! Especially when there's a cute puppy on it.

Seriously goals. Love the calm and minimalist look!
I am OBSESSED with your decor style!!! I'm currently working on building my own style for my tiny studio apt. But, MAN, this is inspiring!
God bless you for all the plant recommendations. I have killed so many plants on accident, I hope I can keep these kind alive
This is the video that's going to cause me to go broke. I need... all of those things. Now I gotta go to wayfair and my local plant shop.
Needless to say, I loved this video Sam! Your room looks awesome, it manages to look modern but also Moroccan, you've mixed the two styles very nicely.
Sam!! I’m loving seeing you on UA-cam more often!! You brighten my day :)
That's my room goal. Seeing all these plants makes me feel so good and relaxed. Love it!
The last 8 seconds of this video are such utter bliss oh my godddd. Dawgz ❤️🐶
i just fell in love with the way you decorated your bedroom. it looks so serene and it would def be my fave in the house as well lol
Wow...I didn't think anyone could capture what I imagine for my bedroom someday, and then I saw this. I wish I could take a picture, blink my eyes and magically duplicate all of it in exactness to my house XD Beautiful, bright, serene room! Also, your dog is the CUTEST.
I LOVE THIS ROOM! I love the wood and all the plants and the side reading chair!!!
I love how different you are frim other UA-camrs, you're a breath of fresh air. It's like you're a UA-cam black sheep, which is a compliment lol.
Yes SAM! I've been following you since ye olde reddit days and I am so happy to see you're still finding new inspiration for content. I too struggle with mental health - mostly anxiety - and I know how hard it can be to get going but girl... you are GOING STRONG!

Love your interior style!! The plants are life!
Your bedroom is beeeeautiful, super cozy and clean chic
A++ points for Kuma piece v v special
I don't know if it's latino superstition but I grew up with my grandma and great-grandma saying snake plants should always be kept outside the house for protection and that they are "bad luck" inside
Your room is so beautiful! Looks so cozy
this is the best, most thorough room tour ever it honestly makes me emotional lol
I’m so happy I found a local UA-camr
You did SUCH an amazing job with this room!!! It’s not always easy to make minimalist look warm and inviting, but man, did you do it with APLOMB. You’ve been inspiring me to put more plants in my living space, and it’s amazing how much it helps with the mental space as well! 🌺
Beautiful!!! Love the vibes. Maybe try repotting the one plant that wasn’t doing well?? Hopefully it’s surviving but it could be root rot
the moment I had sneak peak on this 1:11 i just hit that like button....I mean seriously I just love that window space...
I absolutely love your room omg, actual goals. Also, your voice is so smooth and soothing.
you have such a nice relaxed, comfortable way of decorating, so nice!!
no wonder why this is your favourite room of the house, this is my favourite room I've seen until now

Your tour videos are always so fascinating! I love your taste in decor and plants 🌱
A dedicated plant video is not too much!! I REPEAT NOT TOO MUH. Feed my green heart with plant love!
You are the first UA-camr I have ever watched and it’s fun to watch you grow from a room in your parents apartment with the (tuba?) player in the background to this
omg I love so pretty! Also Matt was wrong. The lamp looks amazing!!
I love that you have real plants in your space!! No shade to those that don’t, we can’t all have a green thumb, but it’s v v nice
So happy that you are filming again🙌🙌🙌 xxx
Someone probably already said this but just in case they didn't, your pothos is also known as 'devils ivy' and the other one is an English ivy. They're both beautiful and from completely different unrelated plant families.
I've never seen a pothos in a terrarium before. Not sure if that will work long term but it does look pretty.
They like filtered diffused light and never direct light but yours does seem happy. I would put it in a porous pot at some stage to keep him happy 😊 this helps to draw out the moisture. Only water when soil is dry.
You're plants look lovely. And the bedroom decor is gorgeous !
well done (hope my little plant lecture didn't sound antagonising 😂 I mean well) 🌿🌿🌿🍃🌱💚💚💚
you are rocking that blue liner makes me want to try it out
Omg Sam, who are you with all the consistent uploads?! Shocked and proud. Lol loving it.
Absolutely love your room!!! & thank you so much for listing plants. Moving to Vancouver for the summer, but when I get home next autumn I want to add more plants to my room
Try a humidifier for your palm! If your bathroom is relatively bright that would also be a good place for it. They love humidity!
Yes! This is so my jam! Like a clean beachy vibe.
Your room is beautiful! That floor is to die for.
